    Kevin Martin is the best pure shooting guard in the NBA behind Kobe and Wade. He just isn`t very popular amongst basketball circles yet because of the Rockets missing the playoffs the past two seasons. All that will change within the next two months. This is the unofficial official Kevin Martin theme song I made. Let me know what u guys think.

    Manu is a jabroni, Joe Johnson is the most overrated max contract player in the league currently. Eric Gorden and James Harden are not on Martin`s level. We`re talking about 23 ppg consistently throughout a season. I know he a had a rough road trip but even the best of the best go through shooting slumps. Bird, Magic, Reggie, etc.

    I love Kevin Martin. He is my favorite Rockets player. I was a fan before he was even here. There are precious few players in the league that can drop forty any given night. O.K., folks, he is not a great defensive player, not the total package, but he is one heck of a scorer ala Reggie Miller. The new rules have hurt his game but he is still one of the leagues best shooters.

    If the Rockets traded Kevin Martin straight up for James Harden, what would the reaction be among NBA fans? Exactly. Kevin Martin is a scorer, but when he's in a slump, he's useless.

    Doesn`t matter. My point is that all good scorers go through slumps. Kevin Martin included. He` may not be a hall of famer, but he`s still currently the 3rd best shooting guard in the league right now.

    If the Rockets traded Kevin Martin for James Harden straight up, then Morey needs to take a drug test ASAP. Harden is a good player, but the only reason he`s more POPULAR than Martin is because he plays for the best team in the NBA as far as overall record. Martin`s tem missed the playoffs the last two seasons. But like I previously stated, that will all change within the next two months.
