First off sorry for another Jeremy Lin thread. Given this is a rockets forum I find it annoying with all the Lin threads but hey if you cant beat them join them.

A friend sent this over. Looks like it's an area for players to chill outside the Knicks lockeroom. It's one of Jeremy's first games as a Knick and he only got 6 mins of playing time. Just thought it was funny how happy his friends and family were with just 6 mins of PT and Jeremy hopes it would get better. Well it looks like it did for him. Tyson always seemed pretty chill with Lin even before he was world famous. Anyways pretty interesting to see NBA players just chill also.

Chen Chien-chou is the one holding the cam. Sorry I should have been clearer. He played basketball for Taiwan once upon a time and is now a TV show host. Christine Fan the American-born Chinese pop singer who went to Harvard for a bit is his wife, although her English isn't that great since she grew up in Taiwan. They are both very well known in the Chinese world, both Christians and strongly pan-Blue (essentially meaning that, they consider themselves Chinese in Taiwan rather than "Taiwanese not Chinese".)

If you are really bored, there is this video of them getting engaged while attending a Yi Jianlian game.

The OP said "A friend sent this over." So I suppose that the OP is not the one holding the cam.

I didn't watch the whole clip. But from hearing the voice in the background, I think the one who shot this clip is "Blackie". "Blackie" is the nickname of Chen Chien-chou who is now a famous host of many taiwanese TV shows and also a head person of a SBL's team. SBL is a semi-pro basketball team in Taiwan.

And the lady who appeared at the beginning of the clip is his wife Christine. She is a pop song singer from Taiwan.

    Sorry for off-topic

Here is a video of "Blackie" was challenged by his players and broke the rim of his SBL's team practice facility. He was lucky that it was fixed before the team's head coach came.

After the coach knew what "Blackie" did to the rim, he was a little angry because it is hard to find a place for practice in Taipei.

And here is a clip of Christine singing the US national anthem on the very next NJ home game after "Blackie" proposed to her. The clip was posted by "Blackie" in YouTube.

I liked how you threw that in like it means something. Guess what? Being Christian also means they are most likely anti-Communist. Pan-Blue (KMT) just means they prefer the status-quo, don't want to 'cause too much trouble' for the international community (typical Confucian mentality) by raising the PRC's hackles when they have nukes pointed at Taiwan and the rest of democratic East Asia.

Stop trying to turn everything into a silly political/ethnicity debate.

Looks who's trying to engage in political debates by bringing up regimes and governments. What does Communism, Democracy and Nukes have to do with Chen and Fan self-identifying as Chinese rather than Taiwanese?
