Smith is dumb if he really goes to NYK. He would be starter with the Clippers and would get to play with CP3, Blake and Deandre for a contender. Just to play with Melo and in NY?

Jr Smith 20 shots a game.
    Carmelo 30 shots a game.
    Amar'e 30 shots a game.

Rest of the team 5 shots a game.

This team is destined to fail if they keep stacking up on on-ball players. They need someone that can play motion offense.

No way NY let J.R. ruins their chemistry, this move has playoffs implication written all over it. I believe the Knicks can get far in the playoffs and challenge Miami. Smith is a knuckle head but when everyone is missing their shots, NY has another option to go to.

NY just may get one of the best 6th men in the league. After playing out of the league (NBA), JR Smith may be a wee-bit humbled by the experience too.

JR is a ball-dominating guard, but he can play off the ball too. I think it's a good move for the Knicks. Now JR just needs to quickly adjust to the NBA 3pt line.

    Why Balkman?

Bibby is the guy, IMO. He blows. On a team desperate for a PG, Bibby can't get much playing time. He is a shooter, that can't shoot anymore.

JR Smith is the better version of Bill Walker.

Bibby may be useless, but Toney Douglas is probably even worse...

Seeing how he can't get into game shape and Lin just stole the starting job, I'd think Baron Davis should be in the crosshairs.

So, how does the rotation and minutes work? Whose minutes does JR take?
