Yeah. I was thinking the same thing. You can tell he put thought into the various types of drum rather than going with the tradition boom boom boom.

It's "bougie". I'm Hispanic and I use it. I did grow up going to school with mostly blacks though.

I honestly believe they do it on purpose just to get the haters talking. There was so much symbolism in this video I doubt they didn't plan it.

Serious question: I know there are multiple groups of the "Illuminati", but as far as history goes, wasn't this a secret society of the elite? (Feel free to correct me if I am wrong)

How the hell did rappers get involved ?? I always pictured it to be politicians, or people along those lines.

Its basically anyone who is successful these conspiracy theorist cry illuminati. They've specifically targeted Jay Z over the song "Lucifer". I've read online about people talking about how he's worshipping satan in the song and whatnot but what they fail to realize is that he's actually mourning the death of Biggie and feels conflicted with himself as to whether find the person who shot him and get his revenge or simply be the bigger person and not do anything.

Also when he throws up the Roc over his left eye, thats suppose to mean something for the illuminati.

Then there's lines in his songs where he compares himself to god such as in "Diamonds from Sierra Leon Remix" where he goes on to say 'I had to get off the boat so I could walk on water' or in "Church in the Wild" where he says 'Jesus was a carpenter, Yeezy laid beats, Hova flowed the holy ghost get the hell up out your seats'.

Then there's the people out there with too much time on their hands that tend to dissect every part of a music video looking for baphomets and anything that would relate him to devil worshipping. Supposedly if you pay close enough attention at the end of N***** in Paris you can hear Jay saying "666666666666".

To me though I think he's heard the cries from these conspiracy theorists and decided to really mess with their heads and subliminally put all these things in his music so it'll "get the people going."
