People who accused Lin of padding stats need to take a look at Tyreke Evans. He is a prime example of a stat-padder.
Odds are you are hating on a kid for playing well. Pure hatred. Its really pathetic man. This has always been a problem on the BBS, some ******* always butts in and tells everyone they are staring at fools gold the [insert player/team here] sucks and that the Rockets are the best team alive. **** everyone that is not a Rocket. Sure I love the Rockets but that doesn't mean I have to hate every other player and team.
Cousin definitely has talent but as Mike Breen pointed out, seems to be perpetually sour and angry. Doesnt seem to be a good chemistry guy and is definitely not a player you would characterize as aware, gritty, glue guy, hustling or inspiring. His individual defense isnt especially good or bad from what I've seen in this game, but his team defense (like the most of the Kings) is lacking, especially his court awareness. He did show in the game that he has a nice mid range jumper and an ability to get good position in the paint. His ability to finish on the other hand is poor for someone with his size, length and talent. Doesnt seem to like to go straight up or strong to the rim. Based on the handful of games I've seen him, my impression of him is underwhelming, ironically I was really upset when the sacto was able to draft him ahead of my hometown warriors. (Though udoh is no prize either. )
No love for the "no-stats all-star" and ex- Rocket Jarred Jeffries? He's even giving the Knicks tangible production as well.
All I've seen from him are wide open layups. To be honest the guy was a very good defender. People just hated him because he was absolutely horrible on offense.
gmoney has some strong points but then he went on the deep end of playing devil's advocate, and now he's actively rooting against Lin to make himself look smart in the end.
