I think it has more to do with Lin being on nobody's radar and waived couple of times before this. It's like a cinderella story. People love that kind of story. Yao never got this kind of phenomenon, because he was the #1 pick and he was supposed to be good.

Talk about phenomenon. I live in Atlanta area. Local AM750/FM95.5 has been talking about Linsanity several days in a row. And they don't even talk about Hawks like once a week. I was like wow...

I hope we didn't miss out on someone special. Lin has carried NY to a 6 game winning streak. When was the last time Lowry did that? Don't get me wrong i love lowry and would still take him over Lin right now. But i would still have to think about it, and if Lin keeps this up and then it would turn into a no brainer. Unfortunately the rockets get the short end of the stick again (i hope not though).

7 winning streak.... Short term memory?
Jeremy had a major share though in that 6 game one.

I didnt forget, and i do give lowry alot of credit. im just saying Lin is doing it with a team that was horrible and had a long losing streak and is doing it pretty much on his own in clutch time with less talent then lowry had. its still early, but man, he is sure playing like someone special atm.

Sure he is. You may also say you prefer Lin over Lowry which is fine.
I personally do prefer Lowry. The thing why there is a Linmania is also the reason he did not succeed in the Bay Area with the Warriors. The Asian Community, they wanted him to succeed there too. Believe me. He could not handle that there, but he is ready now. It took a time.

He is a better starter than a reserve.

Jeremy Lin is considered relatively young right? (Asians have a longer average lifespan, so 23 years old in Asian years is like 20 years old for everyone else). So how much potential does Lin have left?

This is about how someone looks like, his face yes looks like a high schooler. But his body is likely to break down, even faster his other counterparts.

He looks younger and if he's a virgin like Tebow I'd say he'll play until he's 40.

Actually he did. He was meant to be a poject but instead got it going in his second game. He was then hyped up in his rookie season as a player who would change how the game was played.

Of course there were stupid people like Charles Barkley whohad to eat the crow. But there wasn't this kind of sensation NATIONWIDE by any means. Even my wife who could't care less about basketball talks about Linsanity these days...

I'm going to take Lowry for now because he is proven, and his defense. But, if Lin continues this stretch..

There must be a reason, he's not as good as he's currently playing. The coach just plays him heavy minutes, and he has the confidence to do anything because he doesn't really have a good back-up. I know he worked hard on his shot in the summer. But he will come back to earth soon and they will start losing.

Watch him get into a slump, and see if he's tough enough to get out of it.

Lowry is tough and plays an all-around game. And he wills HOU to win. Watch him be in the middle of almost every crucial play.

Both and Dragic like we would have Morey could have decided to drop Adriens off the roster and get rid of Flynn the human garbage time highlight reel.
