Here is a 3 team trade that can really improve all 3 teams involved.

Do y'all think Phoenix is getting too much for Nash in this trade? I did another one that looks the same, except Phoenix gets Dally too and we get Marcin Gortat along with Gasol from LA. Don't know if that would be enough for them, but it's like they're getting 3 starters (Dragic, Martin, and Dalembert) in return for Gortat since Nash is as good as gone once the season ends, so might as well get what you can.

Interesting move, but the Lakers would need to give up picks for Nash as well (he would also clear cap space).

And I'd trade Bud or Parsons, Dalembert, NY pick, and an expiring for Gortat and Dudley. That dude is good!

I also had another idea. The only way I trade Lowry to the Lakers for Pau, is if we are guaranteed to get Derron Williams in the offseason. Other than that, Dragic would be a definite upgrade for the lakers at the PG position. The Pacers also get a SG they need.

The Rockets could then sign a guy like Eric Gordon in the offseason.

    Starting 5

    Lowry
    Gordon
    Granger
    Gasol
    Dalembert

    OR

    Lowry
    Gordon
    Granger
    Patterson
    Gasol

Larry Bird has repeatedly said he's not trading Granger unless the Pacers get a superstar back in return.

i dont get all these suggestions (from both here and sports sites like ESPN) that have us sending out martin, scola, and dragic for gasol. we wouldn't do that same trade anymore! the plan was to bring in nene and chuck back to go along with pau but since nene and chuck wouldnt be part of the equation anymore, it just doesnt make sense. i'm not saying we aren't trying to trade for gasol still but i think that the structure is going to have to be different with different pieces going out and more than just gasol coming in

Am I over-valuing KMart, Scola, and Gragic or under-valuing Pau Gasol? I just don't like the idea of shipping out those three guys and only getting Gasol in return.

I know Gasol is an all-star that can take this team to new heights, but isn't giving up 2 starters AND our backup pg too much? (Flynn isn't a capable back-up in my opinion)

You know, New York would never do this, but it would upgrade both rosters big time.
