Lol... Lin is playing better.... you can make a point there. But Lin is closing in on the second tier point guards of the league.

Lin is trending.... he is just a good fit in NewYork.

I hope not but he needs to quit drawing fouls. it irritates the crap out of me when he does this and doesn't get the call, then he looks pissed at the ref.

I just thought he has a peaked start, anxious or whatever you want to call it. now he has settled down, still playing good but not as good.

He needs other defensive players around him. I think, that his frustration comes out when others slack on defense.

Problem with DWill is that I would not take him on unless he agrees to sign an extension but the media makes it seem like he is set on going to a major market (LAL?). And I highly doubt he signs an extension with this team (it isn't a great supporting cast on paper).

Don't think you can say he has peaked
Guy was not a shooter, nor a scorer coming into the league.
One and half year ago he was not even a starter, then he played borderline allstar level
How has he peaked? That is just an easy option to pick in order to find a scapegoat.

Best question of the night, I'd say no. She has superstar potential and will only get better. Although her value did take a hit after Mark Sanchez.

I think he is exhausted, doing as much as he can to help this team win, but others must step up he can't do it alone. But no he's 25 he's arguably not even in his prime yet.

Lowry is the symbol of the rockets in general. He doesn't have the talent level to sustain a all star level of play. Martin, scola are or was in this same boat. In terms of his peak, dunno, but I know adelmans system helped him a lot. Lowry has never really been able to consitently beat guys off the dribble. Adelmans motion created creases which allowed him to take advantage of the half a man. Now, hardly any motion, and defenders are playing him close enough for the 3 and he can't get by anyone. People always like to talk about nash, but nash can get to the paint because he's a great shooter and has great feet with short area quicks. Lowry doesn't have either and so he can only get to ft line and kick. So now they're playing him closer for his 3 and all his % are down and he's not the high ft attp guy posters claimed he is.

Something's gotta give.... Nash has his qualities... Lowry plays decent D, sometimes exceptionally
Martin, Scola at their best were complimentary players to Yao.
Now they are just mediocre or below.

Sorry, OMR, but I think you've got the jimmy legs. I know you think your knee's not twitching, but it has betrayed you. It's the last game of a 6 game road trip. We played so badly as a team that it was a miracle that we got within 5 late. Bringing up Lowry like this after the second half he played, and considering how badly most of the rest of the team played, just seems, well, reactionary.

Lowry played one of his best games in awhile, tonight. He was getting foul calls and finishing around the rim for a change. I can't blame him for the Memphis loss.

He's a good point guard most teams would be happy to have starting for them, but I doubt he will ever be a superstar.

To get superstar results he has to go 100% the entire game, and that's just not possible for any player to do the way he does it. Throwing his body around, careening off opponents, using all his speed all the time. That'll wear any player down, not to even mention injury.

Lowry has never developed elite point guard skills. He still relies on the same things he relied on when he first came to the Rockets--strength, speed, and effort. Those serve him especially well when it comes to rebounding, but he can't keep them up all the time.

Don't get me wrong, he has a solid all-around skill set. He's a pretty good passer, a pretty good ballhandler, he's developed into a pretty good shooter. What he doesn't have are the hesitation moves, the ball fakes, that special touch around the hoop. He can't cross guys up and fade away and knock down high-difficulty jumpers.

Somehow he managed to develop a jump shot, so maybe he can add more skills too, but he's at the age now where guys rarely increase their skill level so drastically.

Fortunately, he has ridiculous work ethic and "want-to" and competitiveness. That will continue to allow him to exceed his skills and be a very valuable player. But at a certain point, effort doesn't get you any farther and you have to use skill.

He's a championship point guard but he can't be our best player if we want to win anything.
