the atmosphere in the final possession was electric, everyone was standing up even though the Knicks had the ball.

    Wait what?

Uhmm I was under the impression that the reason we let him go was because we had 15 man roster full of guaranteed contracts. If anyone is to be pointed out, as the reason we past on Jeremy Lin, it would be Jeff Adrien or any of the 09'rs!

He's averaging 6 turnovers since becoming a starter and that's wall no matter what system you are in. However, his overall play had made up for that but let's not act like he isn't turning the ball over a ton. As far as CP3 goes he averages 2 per game which is much better

This is true. While they don't just suck anymore they still have been playing an easy schedule and it's about to get a LOT harder. We still have hope as far as our pick is concerned.

I agree with you. Somebody said he was great in the last six and I said he wasn't in the last two and I stand by that

Which is my point in the previous post. It's all relative right? How do you measure greatness? When Lebron scores 40+ points in a game, he had a GREAT game. Anything less is average for him. Lebron's playing at a level 9 or 10 in the league, so nothing less is expected of him. When Jeremy Lin scored 20+ in one or two games, he's playing great. When he's scored 20+ six games in a row, especially in the last two games when defense are all over him, he's playing REALLY GREAT!!! Why?? Because he's supposed to be a level 0 player. The 15th man. D-leaguer. That's his expectation prior to a week ago. So he went from 0 to 10 in one week. He's playing great no matter what he does as long as he leads his team to victories. He has nothing to lose. He came from NOTHING!!!

not 6, it was 4.2 before this game. russell westbrook averages 4.3 for the season, and averaged 6 last week.

Which is pretty funny considering all the bashing Westbrook gets on this board.

the turnovers are a concern, but can be improved. When you handle the ball as much as the PG position does, it's going to be a high number. Nash averaged like 3.5 or 4 turnovers a game his MVP years and had a few 6,7 or 8 turnover games those years. So it's definitely something the Knicks could work with.

there's no time for him to get to the basket if he's being draped with 2 seconds left. was terrible defense.

Wait, wasn't your original statement something about facing hard teams? Are you saying that the Lakers aren't a good team?

I was really disappointed with Jeremy's hesitant, reserved performance in the first half of tonight's game against Toronto. But that 4th quarter...wow.
