Before you say knee jerk reaction based on his less than stellar start tonight. Understand I was one who never expected Lowry to play as good as he started out the season. IMO He was playing at an all star level for a while. I personally saw Lowry as a kid who was getting the most out of his talent. I was impressed with every asset of his game but most of all his tenacity to take punishment. The problem a see with his game going forward is that it depends on him being a bull. Playing hard and fearless. Which wears on a body and invites injury. Of course he is in a slump right now and I expect him to get out of it at some point. But can he get back to that point where he was a triple double ready to happen. I think not at least not consistently over the course of the season. Which brings me to the point and that is... If Lowry has reached his peak does he have his best trade value now. And should we seriously consider trading him. What do you think?
I'm just going to say it... Yes. Unless we get an elite big he can compliment, there's no point in keeping Lowry.
Lowry + Scola for Dwill I love Lowry, but he doesn't have that elite level talent Houston needs. Trade him while his value is high get Dwill and hope you get Dwight.
Valid point..... I have a feeling that all we need are other options that can take the load off him.... Martin and Scola are not the options right now.... Lowry needs to play with real allstars, not fool's gold and a declining dancer
If you think Lowry is the first option, then yes trade him for there are many upgrades.... If you want him to be a third option then he is nearly ideal for this situation. Get a young star, get Granger, Pierce, or whoever........
Yup... clutchfans does it again. A few weeks ago some people on here said they'd only trade Kyle for Lebron, Dwight, or Durant. They also said he was better than Deron Williams at a bargain contract. How about now?
lol..... in a package for Lebron, Dwight, Durant..... I guess nobody said otherwise....you kidding me? 2, At the beginning it was close.... Deron did not play like a superstar and Lowry played like an allstar
What happened to him? He used to be super athletic, a blur in the open court, and could get to the rack at will.. He was super explosive, and now looks really slow. What happened?
? I have no idea what point you're making in your 1st part. As for the 2nd part, how is Deron playing now and how is Lowry playing now?
Im a Big Lowry fan, but Lin is actually better player... have a look at the Toroto game Lin just won 6 games for them in a row !!! 27 points 11 assists makes the last 3
The point was nobody I can think of.... said that they only trade Lowry for Lebron, Dwight or Durant. In a package yes..... And for other players as well.
Lowry was never meant to be the first option. Deron is playing better but he still sucks as the No.1 option, In the East.... Lin is playing better than Deron, please.
Lol this is exactly what I'm talking about. Lowry has a nice stretch; he's better than Deron. Now Lin has a 6 game stretch of nice games; now he's better than Deron. Let me know when Jeremy Lin does it over his entire career like D Will has.
