I don't think it's enough but maybe if we add the Knicks pick or Motiejunas or swap in Patterson for Hill.

I understand the frustration, it's not stated explicitly on any of the "CBA Recaps" floating around the web, and I still haven't found a complete CBA published.
but Larry Coon is the man, so like I said, I will take his word for it.

BTW, I agree 100% on the bolded.

I would rent him so long as doing so wouldn't hurt our cap space this summer. This means no taking back Turk or any other garbage.

you throw in every 1st round pick the rockets have for the foreseeable future and Orlando might consider that before kicking Morey in the balls. Why people expect Orlando to take arguably the most despised and worthless player on the rockets ( according to most here ) is baffling.

Scola and martin are decent ( no d at all ) dragic is a solid back up. Hill sucks ( no d here either ) and budinger is a solid backup ( who plays no d ). Most people here can't stand these players named but expect Orlando to jump at the chance to get them. Hmmmmm....

I mean obviously Dalembert and Hill aren't centerpieces but they help. Could have the two of them + other more valuable pieces.

I think if somehow Dwight landed here, Les would open up that checkbook Buss style.

Yes. We need to take a gamble and go all in. What's the worst thing that could happen? We go from bad to worse? I'll take the POSSIBILITY that he re-signs... He could put us on the map even further to acquire Deron Williams, and if that happens, i think we would have enough depth to be contenders. With a Patterson, Dalembert, Howard front line we would be a serious presence in the paint(Chuck wagon would have made that off the charts). That is if Patterson and/or Dalembert don't get traded to acquire Howard or Williams. So as a summary, YES!

I would not hesitate one second to make a trade for DH12. Will it happen? I honestly can't see it.

Of Course he is the best big man of his era he is a dominant player and if we want to contend for a championship we need to get a centerpiece! Worse case scenario we go all out in FA and rebuild.

    Players I wouldn't ideally trade for D12:

Lee he is friends with the guy, I think is a pretty damn good player.
Montaj... However u say his name! He looks legit and could be an All star.
    Patterson! he will start PF
Lowry* could be steller with Dwight.

*I thnk we could do pretty well shipping Lowry in a deal for Dwight he would be the best player we can over and could get the deal DONE! Dragic would start and we either resign him in the summer for a fair price if He plays good or let him go and pick up D-Will!

Morale of the story, sink or swim! stop treading water!

Superstars don't grow on trees.. You have to be willing to take a risk for a possible reward. How do you make a shot, if you never shoot?

What's the worse that can happen? He leaves us, while losing $30 mil.? Well we can actually tank, without having to tank. Or we could S&T him while getting something back in return. Or he can stay and help us build a championship roster.

You're silly if you wouldn't trade Lee, Motiejunas, or Patterson for Dwight. Lowry I can sort of see as you need somebody with some credibility as a borderline all star so you have a chance at re-signing Dwight.
