I don't know. 3 superbowls. Yeah he is shaky from time to time but he is also a big game QB.

Running backs are just another story in the NFL now you don't need an elite RB to wi a superbowl just look at recent years RBs. Amhad Bradshaw, James Starks, if i'm not mistaken Medenhall was injured when Pitt won theirs. And then look at the QBs who where in the superbowls Eli Manning, Brady, Rodgers, and Big Ben where some.

Just face it man QBs are worth draft picks and RBs are not the only reason Faulk was lucky enough to net a 2nd round pick is because he is the greatest RB to play in the nfl.

I love Schaub, but Ben Roethlisberger is ELITE.

No question about it Big Ben is an elite QB who has proved it in the superbowl. And I would add Matt Stafford into that group in a few years just needs to go further in the playoffs.

Rapelisberger won because he has an AMAZING team around him. He's a solid QB but he is absolutely not elite. And yes, you can win with a solid, but not elite QB. You can't win with a crap QB though.

    haha, joking, no.

Yates has a better career QB rating than Young and also has more playoff games/wins under his belt. He's more of a proven winner than Young.

This is such circular logic. You assert that you have to have an elite quarterback to win a Super Bowl, then define an elite quarterback as one who's won a Super Bowl.

So we would have to basically commit to him before the draft in April so we can have options in trading Matt for picks and replacing Mario. I just don't see how you can make that big of commitment unless his arm strength is there. But if when he gets cut, he calls the Gary, explains his situation and desire and how he wants to come here.... and checks out medically with his arm strength..... well damn you have to kick the tires.

Would the Redskins want Matt + a 4th or 5th for their 1st and 2nd round picks in this years draft?

can't believe i'm letting myself be baited in. so, yates should be our starting qb over schaub, right? and regular season doesn't count, right? and if regular season counts, for your spin it only counts for QBR, not winning %, right?

i'm still holding out hope that you were joking. either way, nice job. was either a good joke or a successful fishing attempt. ya got me

    I don't know about you, but I don't typically spell "Schaub" Y-O-U-N-G.

Yes, and ima did not. So, why you're bringing up Schaub I have no clue.

wtf? there needs to be a smiley for something going straight over somebody's head.

i simply asked him, by his (insane) logic, yates should be our starting qb over schaub too, right?

    what don't you understand?

What I don't understand is how you can infer from ima's posts about TJ Yates being better than Vince Young that we should somehow be starting Yates ahead of Schaub. That is not only over everyone's head, it is out of the stadium of rational thought and his literally nothing to do with his point.
