I don't think Lori's crash is gonna be a huge story arc, at least I'd hope not. The teaser I read about the next episode says Shane goes to rescue her. Probably takes up an episode like Daryl's accident in the forest. And I knew before I even read that, that he was gonna be the one to rescue her. Shane always seems to be in the right spot at the right time to save her life, just so he can throw it back in her and Rick's face. I hope he gets exposed for the selfish pos he really is soon.
Interesting way to go with it, I guess. Although I'll probably still be bored by that plot. btw, Probably shouldn't post next ep teaser details without the spoiler tag though. lol
I don't know what the hell to spoiler now! lol. I spoiler something and then you get a page of argument on what should or should not be. Then I figured since it's only a teaser that you can read anywhere and not revealing major plot details, I'd be fine. I dunno!
really wish daryl would get a lot more screen time. hes an interesting character and by far the best actor. kill dale he sucks. same with the little boy.
My opinion, if it's part of the flow of watching the show on your couch and been on TV already i.e. an aired episode or the promo they show after each episode you don't need to spoiler it. If you have to go somewhere beyond your TV to get this information, like apparently AMC.com has the synopsis for the remaining episodes, then you should spoiler it.
not so much hating the show as lamenting how much better it could be, given the premise imagine what Vince Gilligan of Breaking Bad could do with this material
This is a theory I've thought about and agree may be true. Spoiler The extra shot to the fat guy was a bit much until you think about how this could be tied into this theory and how this is the first clue given out to the audience of it being true.
listen here olive oil...im with you on this. imo, if the show has already aired its fair game. if there is a movie i want to see i will avoid the thread until i have watched it. i just assume they will be discussing the plot so i stay away. tough call though - if it was a book thread i definitely wouldnt want to see someone reveal the ending. maybe this is no different, maybe yes? i do know that carl must die though!
all i read into him Spoiler shooting fat guy/piss guy in the head was that the other shots didnt kill him. fat guy/piss guy was still breathing and this was simply an act of mercy from rick, who is still a "good guy".
Ricks reactions are so dumb. "I knew your wife was pregnant" Rick: "I figured" Lori: "I'm pregnant and oh yeah I "mingled" with shane while you were gone" Rick: "yup. I figured"
Pretty surprised that a couple of people here have voiced their support for the Shane character. I find him to be intolerable, arrogant, dissenting, self-absorbed, volatile, ultra-violent, etc. etc. I haven't read the comics, but he's totally the kind of character that would would be kept around till the very end for some cataclysmic moral battle between good and evil or some B.S. like that. I just really hope he gets killed off soon, though.
I've only read the first issue, but I'm pretty sure Shane has already outlived his comic counterpart.
Some thoughts on the new episode. The kid is such a waste of character, basically a rick clone. They need to gtfo of that farm already, it's really making the show slower then it already is. Spoiler & why is rick even calling the shots on who gets to stay on the farm at the bar? I'm pretty sure Hershell kicked him out, he didn't even let the old man talk. I also wonder if Merle will finally come back during the second half of the season.
For anyone interested, here is how season two could have started if Frank Darabont had not been replaced. http://insidetv.ew.com/2012/01/09/frank-darabont-walking-dead-season-2-plan/ Perhaps AMC can beg him to come back for season three, and everyone can just pretend season two never happened.
