Because it was backed up by one of the greatest centers of all time who was dominant on both ends of the floor.

Is it just me or is Monta's average against us the last few years really high?

It happens every time Martin and Ellis play each other. All O no D.

    Stern really screwed this team.

Imagine Pau, who not only has the most polished back-to-the-basket game in the NBA, but is arguably the best passing big in the game, surrounded by gunners like Lowry, Lee, and Bud. Throw in a high-motor PF w/ strong mid-range game like 2Pat and a couple of young, hungry glue guys like Parsons and Morris... damn. All of whom, including Pau, like to run. That doesn't even factor in the possibility of Nene coming on board.

Would've been special, and the closest thing we've seen to the Clutch City days.

Golden State played better, it happens. Seemed like they made every shot. Lowry is shooting like he did two years ago, terrible. Martin is back. Let's move on.

This team has some sloppy ass offense. Kmac needs to bench himself.

Lowry's play is frustrating. I preferred him when he came off the bench and bulldozed his way straight to the rim on every possession. Now he just stands on top of the 3 pt line and swings it from right to left

Tough loss, but the guys did not play horribly.

Monta Ellis torches us every damn time!

Their bench (Rush, Thompson, Udoh in the 4th) outplayed ours. That was the difference. Martin and Ellis were basically a wash. But when guys are knocking down shots like the Warriors were, it's hard to win.

I was at the game tonight. There was some scattered Houston fans around. Some dude in front of me had a Drexler jersey.

But yeah, Oracle Arena gets pretty loud at times. Great fans even though the team hasn't done much of anything over the last 15 years aside from that 1st round upset over Dallas. Here's a pic that I took pregame.

GSW got hot. Its frustrating that for the past 3 or so years you can predict which players will "go off" against us (Rudy Gay next?).

The offense has no real feel to it recently. It has gotten the job done for a while, but there are a lot of broken plays, sloppy play, and reliance on jumpers. First of all, what happened to the Scola/Lowry pick and roll? We were running that so well a while back and now hit hardly ever happens. I think we made a point to set up Martin this game and it really hurt us, not to mention that he still looked hesitant at key times.

I can't say what would be more beneficial, start PPat over Scola or Lee over Martin? Either way it'll be a while until either would potentially happen but I wish it would sooner...

Jeremy Lin would have dropped 65 on them and we would have won by 40. WHY DID WE TRADE LIN?!?!

Kevin Martin is slowly turning into a nonfactor here. Even when he scores well we can't buy a win.

    I wouldn't go that far.

We would have only won by 30.

I was at the game tonight. It was just an ugly game. So many turnovers. Scola & Budinger are incredibly bad at defense. I lost count of how many easy baskets David Lee had due to Scola not rotating back into the back and losing his defensive assignment. I was surprised it was so close because Rockets were playing horrible. Lowry didn't seem to have any fire... very disappointed as this was the only game I get to see of the Rockets this year in Oakland.

Warriors caught fire though. Monta always explodes against the Rockets. His mid-range pull-up shot was unstoppable. We started the game really well in the first quarter... after that... it was just pretty ugly to watch.

Unfortunate loss. The Warriors are one those teams that solely depend on their jumpers, and today they just hit them.

Monta is overlooked and underrated period. people say he is a knucklehead player that helps his teams lose, but i feel that he is just on a shitty team. rockets, pacers, and grizzlies were fools not to trade for him when they all had the chance.
