Gannicus will be in Vengeance. They announced it after his season, and I saw him in one of the preview clips on youtube
6 minutes of an advanced look! I hate to say it but just from watching this video, it looks like the new Spartacus isn't as natural in the action scenes as Andy was <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/TSp0Q8uabTk" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
i don't think anyone can stomach someone else playing spartacus other than andy. Yea the action doesn't look as in synch but if you remember episode 1 of blood and sand, andy didn't do that great either, the episode actually kinda sucked, he picked it up as the show went on.
Could be because the fighting was out in the open. I remember the first episode of season 1 was the same and didn't look great. Once they're indoors or in a gladiator environment, it will look more natural.
I saw him do an interview where he said he just finished doing a role where he lost an obscene amount of weight and out of the blue they called him to audition for Spartacus. He definitely isn't as cut as Cryxsus or Onameus
Yeah, I almost gave up on the show, the first episode was such a let down. Just seemed so cheesy, and looked like a horrible rip off of 300 mixed with Gladiator. But sure glad I gave it a chance. Can't wait! This and Game of Thrones.
The show still looks like it will be a great watch. New Sparty is definitely going to take some getting used to. Andy played that role to perfection, naturally making him near impossible to replace.
Can't wait for both of those shows either! Dexter and Homeland are ending next week, so it'll be a month of nothing before my other two favorite shows start.

I liked the episode. It was a cliche Spartacus episode, over the top violence, breasts, penises, politics. Its going to take a lot of getting use to to accept the new Spartacus. He didn't do a bad job but there were so many times I found myself imagining Andy in his place during certain scenes
Just finished it. Really liked it. Too bad next weeks is the same one lol. Miss Andy, but it still had that strong Spartacus feeling.
Don't worry. They didn't kill him. He'll be back. On the other hand, Ashur is an awesome heel. Love his deviousness.
I thought that was a pretty phenomenal episode. Crixus is definitely the most bad ass of anyone imo They didn't kill him, Ashur only bashed him in the head, and if you know the history of the story, you know certain characters already have certain fates determined
