Went last night, was blown away.

Had the stache at many points close to tears with nostalgia. Dude certainly is the greatest of our time, if not all time.

highly recommend everyone going to see it!

Caught it last night as well. I definitely see why so many reviews were by folks that left at intermission. It's not what I expected (a Cirque MJ EXPERIENCE)...more an MJ-inspired Cirque interpretative dance experience.

I give them a lot of credit - the creativity, thought, and artist merit in the show kills LOVE. The performers were obviously Cirque level impressive. This could have been a quick commercial cash grab, but they clearly wanted it to be more than that.

On the flipside, you almost feel robbed that the show is light on MJ dancing (which kinda makes sense) and it felt like they never full-on went into the most of the favorite songs (but did with the lesser known ones)...they could have done a better job giving the audience what they wanted. Billie Jean, like several others, felt more like a 3 min remix transition between two songs at a club. If you came looking to get your MJ greatest hits on like a giant sing-a-long or Cirque Beatles, you were in for a rude surprise.

The other big thing for me was trying to get a sense of how much of the music was pre-recorded track and how much the live performers were contributing. It was clearly at least partially live (a Greatest Love of All line was slipped in right before they started 'I'll Be There')...but some of the "WOW" instrument solos seemed like they may have been faked.

Had I been more aware of what it was going to be, I would have enjoyed it more - I like it, but it was a little jarring that nearly every big song was more of a partial tease or blended into 2-3 other songs. The Jackson 5 and Bad-Beat It mashups were a lot of fun, though.

    I'd give it a 7/10

Went to the show last night and thought it was awesome.
Not sure what some are/were expecting...this was not meant to be a concert.
Having seen many other Cirque shows we got just what we expected...again...really good show.
