Seems to be trending lately. I fully expect for him to eventually pick it up, but it has been obvious that the starters are better defensively without him. It almost looks like he is mailing it in out there. He hasn't even scored 20pts in the past three games combined:eek:. Is it possible that he has caught wind of an upcoming trade??
We all know how Morey does things.

He has been playing on a sore foot or knee or something.

yes i expect him to bounce back too, he's been in the league long enough. maybe McHale should start considering putting him on the bench and let Lee start, it worked for Chase, it might work for him.

but he needs to be kicked in the ass if he is still affected by trades, he's old enough to know how it works. he's a pro being paid a lot, sucking it in and earn your dough on the court. if he wants to stay here perhaps he should consider making better effort and carry the team on his shoulders

Martin won games for us last week before he has hit this cold spell. Everyone has contributed one way or another to the success of the team this year.

They are markedly better defensively with him on the sidelines .... and I like Lee's game a lot. He gets to the rim , plays great defense and ..... has that mid-range game that so many overlook in favor of taking 3's. He shoots a high percentage ....

That said , Martin can fill it up , usually early in the game ... I could see moving Martin for the right addition. But that would have to be a significant upgrade to make that decision.

Wonder if we could still see a Scola + Martin for ??? deal before the deadline as Patterson has been playing very well too ... and he's a far superior rebounder & defender than Scola who I think could slide right into the starting five.
We all know Scola's days here are numbered , considering Montejunas should be coming over next season, there's no reason to hang onto him at $8.5m and $9.4m this year and next.

What would a combination of Martin + Scola bring in return ? Doesnt seem like NO is biting on the deal for Kaman , doesnt seem likely that Philly would move Andre Iguodala considering their good play , Dont really want Gasol due to age ....

If the Rockets are expecting another team to give up a bonafide superstar expect Patterson to be in the deal.

Charlie Pallilo did a statistical comparison between Martin and Lee yesterday debating with a caller insisting that Martin was the better player. I was surprised myself that Lee had the edge.

But everyone has slumps: fatigue, minor injuries, distractions etc. Sometimes my bio-rhythms are on go and sometimes they are on stumble and fumble.

I'd bet Martin will have some 30 point games again before the season is over. Hopefully in the playoffs.

WTF are you talking about? Manipulating stats? No. It is what it is. He has not been scoring and we have still been winning. Too many comedians this morning.

Budinger has been playing like an all-star off the bench lately, which has makes up for his absence. We can't count on that happening every game, though.
