Marc Stein of ESPN reporting the Knicks were ready to cut Lin because his contract was not guaranteed and bring up Mike James but scrapped the idea after his game against the Nets.
Wow, I never really watched him or paid attention, but seeing this highlight clip and the boxscore, I'm like...WTF happened, how could we let this kid go?

Because someone is actually passing him the ball. Interesting to see what happens once Amare and Melo returns.
No, he is beasting because he is a true defensive presence at C, unlike what the Rockets have. Watch the plays when Lin scores. Lin isn't making Chandler, Chandler is the one who's making Lin. He's either setting picks that completely kill the defense or being a defense magnet under the rim drawing multiple players. All this is making me wish Yao was still playing for the Rockets.
TC has always been a beast. i was wondering wtf happnd to him when he went to the knicks (they were losing). i think he needs a decent PG (he blew up again after Jeremy Lin became the PG) to be effective. he would be beasting in houston definitely. I might rather have had Lin backing KLow rather than Dragic.
Lin is playing great, but Chandler is definitely making it easier for him. Early in his career, I thought Chandler's entire offensive repetoire consisted of dunks and alley oops. Now, he plays the pick and roll as well as any 7 footer out there.
That's ok because Lin loves you. It's people like you who puts the chip on his shoulder to keep going and proving people wrong. So keep up the good work!
