In the last games Courtney was able to bounce back from some injuries to who he really is (an effective two-way role player, that drives, shoots around 40% at 3-pt department and plays solid defense).

He'll be a free agent this summer and certainly he will get some lucrative offers. Some teams that have good scoring small forwards will look at him as a complement wing player, the guy that will stretch the floor, cut to the basket and defend his position.

Don't be surprised if Sam Presti will try to get him to use Courtney as a starting SG instead of Thabo Sefolosha, for example

Courtney is certainly a sixth man at best here, but he's not a "Terry" type of 6-th man, he won't give any crazy production out there

If you want to keep him, what should be a price for doing that?

A little reminder. He's a 10 PPG player that can shoot 45-40-80 and defend his position on a solid rate. That type of SG guys, surprisingly, don't grow on trees and Afflalo got 8M per year in December and he's not that much better than CLee (if better at all)

Impossible to say what the Rockets can/should do until we see what kind of splash Morey makes at the trade deadline. He will make a splash... he always does.

He and Dragic will be gone. Trade Lee to the Cavs. They could sure use him over there.

Let him go. Let him get his money, and chance to start. He probably deserves it. :p And probably wants that.

I have the impression that Lee does not want to be here and I don't think Martin wants to be here either. I think Lee will bolt in free agency even if Martin doesn't get moved. In my opinion Lee is worth about 4 - 5 million a year and I don't see him getting the full MLE especially with the new CBA. Under the old rules some team would have over paid for him and given him the full MLE. This next offseason will be very different from the ones in the past and it looks like players salaries are going to start to drop.

Someone like Chicago will give him the full MLE.

    The Rockets are too soft.
Watching the Knicks play with crap players and getting it done just saddens me.
Why can't the Rockets display that same intensity? :(

I have to disagree these last past games by the rockets has been played with a ton of intensity the bench has found chemistry and has shown they can play decent help defense

You know, a year ago I was thinking Lee was a top 3 untouchable player on our team because of his defense. However, I feel like he tries to dribble too much and when he does dribble in a direction it's always left or right (never towards the basket). If he could fix that I think he is an amazing talent and an elite defender.

Full MLE to 8 mil is not bad for someone who can play both ends. Find a place for Martin or waive him.

It's called the E-A-S-T-E-R-N conference my man. We have the clippers, thunder and spurs ahead of us. The lakers are down there and the mavericks are around us on the standings.

Look at the east the top teams are the heat and bulls, two teams with no depth. All the teams above that I mentioned have plenty (minus the lakers)

Morey is keeping Lee as a bench player so he won't get offered a bloated contract.

He did the same with Lowry and that worked out well.

They just won three tough road games in a row against good Western Conference teams. Give me a break, and stop crying.

Really... playing the same position as Kevin Martin has nothing to do with it??? The guy who averaged 24 point per game last season and is the teams best offensive player???

Lee might have a similar situation as Lowry in restricted free agency, but if you think Morey is hiding him on the bench you are wrong. He plays heavy minutes every night, and is usually a big part of closing out games.
