I do like Lin but I would rather have Lowry at this point. If Lin continues doing this over a span of many games, I would probably change my mind. Lowry is more proven at this point. He is a more well rounded PG.
He went off against a dinosaur in Fisher. I felt that Lin would play well tonight. My fantasy teams are loving this but.... I'll take Lowry all day. You guys are crazy.
Who is Lin going to dish 10 assists or 18 assists or however many, to? Lowry has Martin, Budinger, Scola. All Lin had was Chandler, in the past few games. Considering that Lin averaged around 8 assists since he became a starter, and that in those games, Melo and Stoudemire weren't effective as much as they should have been, I think Lin would have been alright. Would the Knicks rather have Lin dishing out 10 assists tonight, or his 38 points?
Lol. Lowry is the more complete player. Anyone that says otherwise is kidding themselves. Lin has to score 20PPG in order for the Knicks to win without Melo AND Amare. Who else is going to score? Lowry can score 12 ppg on this team and still win.
His performance tonight was absolutely amazing. And he did it against the Lakers. Can this kid be that good, or is this one of the most unbelievable hot streaks that a player has ever been on. Time will tell, but I am starting to believe this kid is for real.
I'm not going to argue with you, you obviously just watched the game and are love-struck. The fact that Lin was on the Rockets probably doesn't help either. You really like Lin, I get it. I really like Lowry, you get it. Cool.
I have said all along that he would not have had this breakout in Houston this year, barring injury, but read Feigens blog, he nails it. Says we could have kept him, signed him for 3 years on the cheap and he would have gotten his chance. DD
