Yes, Morey, the scouts, and the coaches all screwed up. What's done is done... Time to move on.

I'll be rooting for the Knicks in the Eastern Conference, LOL!

I just know the Knicks will be getting a lot more sponsors, if they are smart enough, they keep Lin around and cash even more. I don't blame Morey, I blame David Stern.

Yes, Lin didnt know he is this good, but we should have kept him for a small cost. That was obvious to even casual fans.

Wait I don't understand. We are doing pretty good in our conference. We have two point guards that can control the flow of the game. And we are 8 or 9 players deep into the rotation. Pretty much where we want to be. Why the hell are people b****ing about a player that would have never played because our PG position is solid?

Is D'Antoni's "talent evaluator" for PGs also broken since he failed to put Lin in the rotation for over a month? And everyone in Golden State, including Jerry West who is their consultant? They all suck at evaluating talent, huh?

I really want to enjoy what Lin is doing, but posts like this make that difficult. *annoyed*

This is a GREAT story precisely because no one saw it coming. It doesn't have to be that people were idiots or not doing their job properly.

I just hate that his success (which i root for because i like the kid) is coming at our expense (draft pick/sports casters laughing at our gm). I'm beginning to feel like we have a Cleveland sports like curse on us.

Les " Daryl, I noticed that Jeremy Lin is really blowing up in NY"

Morey "Yeah, it is pretty amazing"

Les "Why did we let him go again?"

Morey "Well Chris Finch said Adrien was a good forward"

Les "Isn't that the guy we just cut"?

Morey "Well yeah, but we got Greg Smith back"

Les "Isn't that another guy we cut?"

Morey "Yeah, but uh, this time we got him back"

Les "I hear ya, have you noticed Daryl that Madison Square garden is suddenly full of fans spending money"

    Morey "Uh, yeah, I guess"

Les "And we are 29th in attendence, right?"

Morey "Yeah, that Jeremy Lin is really something"

Les "And we let him go? This is going on your permanent record Daryl...."

I hear ya Durv, but I don't care if those guys are great or crap at evaluating talent, I care about the Rox....and they blew it on this guy.

I'm pissed that the Rockets passed on this guy but very happy for Jeremy Lin and his success.

I really hate to say this but Morey really *****ed us over this time.

    Fire this GM already.

The Garden is always full and rocking like that. That is one place that doesn't ever have to worry about selling tickets and having emotional fans.

Did he blow it on Scola? Landry, Lowry, Patterson, Dragic, Lee. We can do this all day.

You know what would make this even WORSER !! ;)

If Morey is unable to flip those 09ers at the trade deadline, then we will have kept dead weight for nothing.
