Has Dragic played 5 games in a roll like that?

To be honest, minus adelmans system, dragic is probably better for the rockets than lowry. Dragic is the only rocket in the rotation who can get to the rim. Lowry can't beat anyone off the dribble right now.

Dragic, more experience and proven defense along with being able to hold the ball without 6 turn overs a game and needing 40 minutes.

I mean for all the talk about Lin, isn't he the exact same type of player that Aaron Brooks was and didn't most on this board call for him to be gone before December 2010?

Wow. Calling Jeremy Lin Aaron Brooks is borderline r****ded and assuming you're not r****ded, ignorant.

I chose Dragic. Yes Lin is playing out of his mind, but I expect a steep decline when Amare and Melo come back. You think those two will share the ball?

Lin and Brooks are two completely different players.

Brooks is a great shooter, extremely quick, extremely small, not much court vision, a defensive liability.

Lin is an average shooter at best, okay speed, good size for a PG, very good court vision, good defensive player.

lets be a little realistic guys Golden state is the stupid team for drafting and not resigning him they are the one's who feel assraped but i really dnt think he wouldve ever played with the rockets and he wouldve never become an "asset" or anything even in preseason against the spurs he barely played , hes pretty good not great it's D'antonis system tht helps him excel . I have to say good for jeremy lin he got an oppurtunity and took it , yes hes kiling our draft pick but lets be realistic in the east the knicks will make the playoffs no matter what . I'd stick with dragic more experienced , taller better defender and gels better with the team , but i must say good for jeremy lin its a good story

I hesitate to say Lin is "for real". I think he clearly belongs and can be at least a quality backup PG. He obviously has some skills. I can't help but think he's benefiting from (a) playing bad teams or teams with bad PG defense (Lakers), and (b) being a relative unknown and not well scouted.

If he is "for real", then this has to be one of the great sports stories in recent memory.

GlenRice wishes that we kept Lin, that way he would still have 6 green rep points and not a red one, lol.

And his breath wouldn't smell like a cows butt.

Imo : Lin would be nice, but Dragic is also good. Toss of the coin....I'd take Lin, just.

Once again lets see Lin for a full year. This guy is hot but there is a reason why he was cut by two teams this season and other teams that needed a PG did not look at him. Would not be playing if there was not any injuries on the Knicks. Can't judge anybody on a week.

Just going to throw this out there CATO!

No disrespect to Dragic, the guy has been playing great but I rather have Lin. The guy just makes for a better story and fills the void for all the Yao Ming fans.

This is kind of an unfair question to ask right as Lin goes on his 4 game tear throughout the league and is essentially becoming a household name. Granted, his popularity is, aside from his good play, a result of playing in a huge market after being waived and floating around the league from team to team. It's just a feel good story. He's also lucky that he's in D'Antoni's system that showcases PGs and helps their [assist] numbers.

From what I had seen of Dragic in his Suns days, I always felt that he had the potential to do exactly what it is that Lin has been doing these past several days. The guy is a straight scorer who can seemingly penetrate at will, and can dish from time to time as well. I bet if we were to give Dragic significant time on the court we'd see him do great things, too. I recall the Suns having some pretty high (perhaps even lofty) hopes for him when they had him, so I'm sure there's something there.

Morey is the GM and he HAD Lin. He is supposed to have more information than other GMs who didn't have the chance. That's why I'm harsh on him. I still think he's one of the best GMs in NBA but that doesn't mean this is not a major mistake.

I don't buy that Lin wouldn't have PT BS. Even Johnny freaking Flynn had decent minutes early in the season. Good player will prevail if he has the chance.

I have been down on Morey but you can not knock him and his ability to find talent. Very body misses a player and I would say 32 out 32 GMs would cut Lin if they had Lowry/Dragic. Now not saying Morey miss something because all we know is that Lin is having a hot four games. Lets see what he does all year. Lets see if he can handle a Melo and Amare. Question should Knicks go out now give him a nice size contract? Multi years worth multiple millions of dollars? Once again Cato. Dude is hot but lets see what he does when the Knicks best players comeback and see if he can come out of a cold streak. And everybody goes threw a cold streak. Lets see how ends the year
