Lin seems like a solid player providing much needed offensive direction for a seriously offensively challenged team. Showed a ton of poise out there, made smart plays and hit some clutch shots in the fourth quarter.

On the defensive end, he had a pretty easy assignment with Fisher, but was good at providing help defense on Bryant. Plus, he took that smart charge late in the fourth.

I can see him mesh well with Stoudamire, who knows how to play off of a pass first PG, but not sure if he could coexist with Anthony, who seems to need the ball in his hands to be effective.

Also, I loved how hard the Knicks defended throughout the game. Team defense is fun to watch, and Chandler and to a lesser extent Jeffries really anchor them on the defensive end.

Without Amare and Melo, the Knicks just beat the Lakers with Lin, Chandler, and scrubs... Respect...

blahblahblah. dude is playing consistently well and the knicks are winning. quit hating. he will inevitably have a bad game and at that time you can say "i told you so." but c'mon that was a great game.

The should ship Melo out for a good shooting guard and some depth.

I wonder if New Orleans will take Melo and they can give back Eric Gordon, Chris Kaman, and Trevor Ariza.

The crazy thing was the Knicks were able to get away with playing Novak for 24 minutes with LA's frontline.

And the dribble penetration of Lin (directly and indirectly) was a big factor in putting Bynum, Gasol and Barnes in foul trouble.

There's a silly thread on Lowry vs Lin, but I'll say one thing, Lin is a lot more composed than Lowry down the stretch and doesn't seem to get flustered as easily. He keeps his dribble alive better, and gets to the rim (the rim, not 5 feet out) better.

Did you see Novak against Gasol? He smacked that ball out of his hands!

Where did I say it was a bad game? Someone asked if anyone still thought it was a fluke. Yes, I don't think he is as good as he is playing. His average is like 25 points or something right? You think he is that good? You think he can average 20 a night on 50% shooting?

!!! RT @AlexKennedyNBA: Immediately after Magic-Hawks game, ATL players asked for Jeremy Lin updates. Started yelling when told he has 22/5.
