The better question is not for the rest of the season, but for the future. It's kinda unfair to compare them now because Lin doesn't have enough minutes played to get NBA experience and he doesn't know his teammates as well as Dragic. Morey screwed up this one. We lost Lin, who might be worth a high lottery pick by the end of the season and we let NY play much better with Lin, and might just miss another high lottery pick. I can't see how Flynn's 3.5mil expiring contract can offset that.
i really have a hard time seeing how dragic is clearly better than Lin. he's clearly a better 3pt shooter at this stage and that's pretty much it. Lin is better at everything else. Lin's ability to finish around the rim is tony parker esq. for those who think it's the system, remember Dragic played behind Nash under the same system for 2 years and he didn't do squat!
Why are people harping on DM? He doesn't have a crystal ball to make 100% accurate predictions on players. Flynn had a contract with us, and we didn't want to amnesty him. We wanted to give him and Thabeet a serious look if they could contribute. With Lowry and Dragic, how much PT do you think Lin would have with us? Nada. So it's non-sequitur. You Lin fans should be thankful Rockets did not hold on to him and relegate him to the bench. As simple as that.

AFTER three freaking games in which Lin is averaging more points than he has ever averaged any point in his career both collegiate and pro.. wow talk about jumping to conclusions
This. The question should be, if you knew Lin was this good, would you have kept Lin or Dragic at the beginning of the season? Dragic is probably the better player now. But Lin has the higher ceiling.
This ****ing stupid!!! Dragon was your backup last year and proved to be key then and now! Lin would be sitting when Flynn sits now, on the end of the bench! Why would you want to do that to a kid who can get minutes on another team? Point is we have a GREAT set of point guards so why do you Lin lover complain about us handcuffing Lin to the bench? Be happy he plays somewhere else.
34 pts Lin, where is Glen Rice? Knicks T0, Lin back in, Knicks blow out to 14 point lead. I'd take Lin, he plays in-control. Dragic would occassionally shoot 3s with a guy in his face, not Lin unless he has space. ******* asset gone.
voted dragic, he's more proven, lin just had a nice run of games against much easier opponents. dragic if i remember correctly scored 20 in the 4th quarter against the defensive minded spurs couple of seasons ago....but having said that, i just saw that lin is ripping it against the lakers....wow!! now he's starting to prove himself....but long term i still choose dragic
