Well, GMs are still human after all. Let's just be happy that we are 16-11 in the West right now. I imagine it would be unbearable if we were the cellar dwellers of the conference right now, plus the fact that Lin was let off the hook.
Conflict of interests here. I want Lin to average 100 ppg, 50 apg and lose just enough to have a so-so year without wrecking Lin's value.
As much as I've hated on people that are giving Morey flack, it does sting that we didn't keep this guy over Flynn or Thabeet and at least check him out in the d league. But I still don't think he'll keep it up. Mike James put up monster numbers in Toronto too but nobody was talking about him like this. Someone has to put up numbers with Melo out and Lin is stepping up.
Morey and McHale are sitting on a bean bag holding each other and crying their eyes out right now. (Shaking head) They had the second coming of Yao Ming in their hands and gave him away. If Lin keeps this up, he is going to be as big of a cash cow for the Knicks as Yao was for the Rockets!! Damn! Damn! Damn!!!!
I've tried to wait out a few games before really buying into the Lin hype, but i gotta admit he's kept it going longer than i thought.... My question is, was it just me or did he seem apathetic when he was here? Almost like he was going through the motions...perhaps after getting cut a second time he decided it was time to wake up? I know he naturally doesn't show a lot of emotion, but it's just a completely different drive i see in him than before.
