    wait, how did they take away 2 points for giving chandler free throws when the knicks weren't in the penalty? i don't remember the sequence but wouldn't the knicks have the ball if chandler isn't shooting free throws? or did something else happen? otherwise you just stole a possession from the other team.

    just rewound it. it was that simple. off the ball foul that got chandler 2 free throws. so instead of penalizing the defense for free throws that shouldn't have happened, you rectify it by stealing the offense's possession, thus benefitting the team that committed the foul? i don't understand how the rules can let you retroactively fix something that can't really be fixed after the possession is over.

    Yeah that was weird, Knicks shoulda gotten a possession from that. I'd imagine if this happened during the finals, it would make the league look pretty stupid
