Dragic for me. I really enjoy his hustle out there. I can't lie though, Jeremy Lin is doing a hell of a job in NY right now.
Tough call. Both game style are very similar. Give Goran the reins on a team like the Jazz and he could possibly do the same thing. Coin flip.
They seem pretty similar at the moment, in the sense that they're pretty creative with the ball. Whereas Dragic is a better scorer, Lin is probably a better passer.
If you're a Rockets fan, its OKAY to be butthurt. If you're not, you're in denial. Team is always looking to "upgrade" well, I guess Houston felt flynn was it. Lynn was not going to cost much to keep, pathetic.
Just to say why I would pick Dragic over Lin, it's because I feel like Dragic can play both guard positions while Lin is simply a pg.
It's the Year of the Dragon. I have to go with Chinese beliefs on this one. Dragic!! oh, and this is a not so cleverly disguised attempt to gauge the amount of Japanese bball fans on this site.
If the Knicks beat the Lakers today, I'd have to choose Lin. And yes it seems bandwagony and it is. They are comparing Lin to STEVE NASH - and it's true, his game is so similar to Nash's. Dragic studied behind Nash for a year and he never developed that hesitation move in the paint.
Lin hasnt done anything in a regular season basketball game that the dragon hasn't done in the 4th Quarter of a playoff game!!!!
I feel like Dragic could do the same thing Lin is doing for the NYK's but with a 3PT shot. For Rockets, I'd pick Dragic cause he is more proven and has more chemistry with the current players. Both need the ball to play well. Dragic spreads the floor better.
Lin is great and all...but are you freakin serious???? Don't compare a guy who has had 3 or 4 good games to a hall of famer. It's just not fair.
I think Lin looks so great because he's a PERFECT fit for the Knicks, at least without a ballstopper like Melo. I think Dragic would be a great fit for the Knicks too, and if he were in Lin's place, he would be getter similar praise and performance as well. As players, Lin is the better passer (the most important trait of a PG), while Dragic is better at driving to the rim and shooting from the outside. Lin is the better rebounder. They're about equal in defense. To me, I would still give Dragic the slight edge for this season because he's more experienced. Dragic has proven it in the playoffs, whereas Lin has never played in the playoffs.
