You know back in the day, people use to honor Tip Jar bets or any bet. Even Moes who's reached Hakeem status honored his own bet to himself which he promised to leave if a certain event happened. We need to get that honor back that a few lowly users here have ruined. I make a simple bet to RTM. Hawks make it to the 2nd round of the playoffs, $20 to the tipjar, I'll pay. If not $20 to the tip jar he pays. If he's not able to make that bet, then I'll take that bet with anybody else. Preferably someone with honor like TheYoYo, KellyDwyer or any 99er.

I may not be a fan of the guy, but i think he's capable of that. 12 points /game or atlanta doesn't make the 2nd round (regardless of mcgrady playing or not)

RedNation got that bet for the Hawks. I'll be down for the McGrady 12 or 13 points a game. Your choice. I'll bet $15 if you pick 12, and I'll bet $20 if you pick 13. Bet is valid if he's healthy in the playoffs. If he gets hurt during the playoffs, we can invalidate the bet.
I'll get in on this. I propose $20 that Jeremy Lin does not finish the season as the starting PG of the New York Knicks. Criteria: Lin does not start in the last 3 games of the season. Side conditions: if Lin gets injured, bet is void. However, if Baron Davis and/or Tony Douglas and/or Iman Shumpert is injured, the bet is not void. Both of these conditions work against me. In other words, the only way you can lose is if Lin is healthy and does not start the last 3 games of the season for the Knicks. Bet title: "How convinced are you that Lin is the real thing?" I'll do this bet with up to 3 people.
Well, for me. I'll bet you the Knicks make the playoffs. They are currently #9 behind Boston and the Bucks. $10 for the Lin err win!
