We wouldn't know how good Lin was. Morey thought Flynn was approximately as good. Lin wouldn't be enough to convince Morey to make the trade.

Dragic wouldn't be going to the Lakers in the proposed trade...?

I would love to trade Martin and Scola for Gasol.

    Lowry / Dragic
    Lee / Twill
    Parsons / Budinger
    Patterson / Hill
    Gasol / Dalembert

    Yes please.

Maybe a 3-way with milwaukee? Jennings to LA, Gasol to Rockets, Dragic, Scola and Thabeet to Mil. I think that haul would really improve Mil. and LA. I'm not sold on how much a 19mil Gasol helps us though. Then again, he was clutch last bight in Boston.

Plenty of people could see his potential just in the short period in the preseason when we had him. When he was put in the game, he made an impact. Don't try and put your own shortsightedness on everyone else. He also would have gotten a chance to show his stuff in those couple of games Lowry was out and Dragic pretty much had to go the full 48.

Sorry, I misread your post. You had Lowry going to the Lakers unlike other posters who've suggested sending bench PGs.

Then he's overvaluing Pau, unless the all star PG he wants is Nash, or someone else that's past their prime.

No gasol is soft...Gasol+Soft=Gasoft...Plus Lowry makes this team go...you don't trade players that make the team go...would the Spurs trade Parker for Gasol...no...Lowry is more important to the Rockets then Gasol is to the Lakers...Trading Lowry would ruin our 2nd unit..do you really want Flynn running point guard..that's what I thought:confused::rolleyes:

Jeremy Linn was put on waivers after efforts were made to trade him by both the Rockets and Warriors... he shot an amzing 38% last year in a very offensive friendly Warriors team.

He showed some promise, hence why the Rockets claimed him off waivers... but, not a single GM thought much of him, as he was put on waivers twice. The Knicks took a flyer on him because they had NOTHING at point guard.

If Scola were averaging 18/8 on 50% shooting like last year they'd at least consider it, I think.

No, probably not. But that would be awesome.

    Lowry / Flynn
    Martin / Lee
    Parsons / Bud
    Gasol / Patterson
    Dalembert / Hill

    That's a contender right there.

I have no interest in Pau joining the Rockets, if he were younger I'd be more interested but I get the feeling a steep decline is coming.

pretty much he didnt really play too much last year in GS and i doubt he would have been able to crack the main PG rotation of Lowry and Dragic here.

NY was a perfect storm for him they had no PG whatsoever and he is playing in the system that inflates PG production like crazy (freakin Chris Duhon looked like a big time player in NY)

I am not saying the guy is a bad player etc but I doubt there would be a lot of people here clamoring for him to play if he was still on the bench.
