You got it backward, Lin is just a suped up south Canadian version Dragic on a badly constructed team.
Till the trade deadline or beyond... With Morey you will never know... He is constantly looking for an upgrade
I hate this name so damn much. Everytime I hear it I die a little in side. It is just a little on the gay end. Dragic is chaotic on the court, for bad or good thats the basketball gods to decide. I just prefer Chaos as his nick name.
I admit I like Dragic's approach to the game more than Lowry's. Lowry depends very much on on max effort and while that is admirable, it means that he gets hurt and exhausted very easily, and has a harder time making stuff happen when the opposing team also gives max effort, as will be the case in the playoffs. Dragic has a more skill-based approach and when he is one he can take over a game (see: Suns vs Spurs game 3). He learned from the best in his time behind Nash. All of that said, Dragic is not as good as Lowry yet. He has not played near as many NBA minutes in his career and it shows. He is also the same age as Lowry so it is not like he has a youth advantage.
Lowry has won me over as a player so it's hard for me to say I'm for this trade. I wish we could do something more like Drag Scola Bud, they need a scorer in the second unit. I am just tired of seeing other teams PFs have record games against us, and Pau may not be the best defending PF but he's an upgrade from Scola there.
yeah, but he's a UFA this offseason, and his value keeps going up every minute he's on the court. I am now convinced that some team will overpay. I wasn't convinced of that going into this season, but he's played extremely well every time he gets starters' minutes. I've seen enough to believe that he should be a starter in this league, and he's versitile enough to play equal minutes at both guard positions. I really, really want to lock him up long-term, and given our expected cap-space this offseason, I don't see why we can't. But if we are not, I don't want to lose him for nothing. Either lock him up or trade him, but don't let him walk for nothing.
