You right he told coach Mchale's or tells him when he know he's not doin good...Stop talkin down on my boy K-Mart Gurantee you he will have a 20plus game @ home!!!! "MarkMyWords" #WOO
no way.. he was at least attempting to defend... watch him on offense next game.. he's not moving without the ball and when he does get the ball he's not looking to attack like he normally did under Adelman's offense... he's just not motivated for some reason
You know about some of the dorks around here call him "McFail?" Kevin got that limp playing with a broken foot through the 1987 playoffs to try and help his team get another ring. He knew playing on it would shorten his career, but he took one for the team anyway. So, suck on that haters. He's done a nice job as coach, too.
I donn't care Martin's score, but his defense is too terrible; He is a good player, but he cann't help this team
He hasn't played like this since the year he got traded from the Kings for the Kings. He was being shopped and he knew about it. If he's mentally checked out it could be he's gotten word of a trade.
It's not about who starts, but about who finishes. I wouldn't change a thing at this point. The bench chemistry is just too good.
You're right I realized how much I took his scoring for granted when he went down for a couple games. I just cannot stand how when his shot isn't falling he refuses to do anything else but take up space on the floor. When you see him playing D you wonder, "WTF were you thinking there!?"
would make sense on why his minutes are so limited also... we all know he can play a lot better if he wanted
I don't think it's as simple as "lol bench is better than starters". I think the offense is terrible for the starting five right now because Scola is having a down year, Martin is slumping, Parsons is a black hole, and Dalembert has never been a good offensive player. The starting five needs Martin to score or they are just plain terrible on offense. Hopefully he breaks out of his slump soon.
The fact of the matter is that if Martin's shot is off and the officials aren't calling fouls, he has negative value. That appeared the case early on. And with Lee/Dragic/Budinger all stroking it off the bench, there was no real reason to go back. Don't think it's any more complex than that.
