Anytime a player doesn't want to listen to McHale, he just has to pull out his MULTIPLE championship rings.

Even if they both pan out, both of them combined are nowhere near as impressive as getting Love for Mayo.

Its possible that Patterson needed a breather and signaled as such to the bench.

Nope, you are right it's not just about the draft.

Ridnour? I'll give him credit, that was a good move.

Beasley and Williams? That makes no sense to me. He drafts Wesley Johnson in 2010, then trades for Michael Beasley, then drafts Derrick Williams (who is an early candidate for bust of 2011). Now, to be fair Derrick Williams hasn't been getting enough opportunities, but whose fault is that? He has Wesley Johnson and Michael Beasley ahead of him.

As for Kevin Love, that is Kevin McHale's move.

Yes, they are headed in the right direction, but they are headed in the right direction the same way that Clippers are headed in the right direction. Make tons of questionable moves and get lucky with some of them.

Yeah, he's done that multiple times over the past few weeks I've seen.

I don't really see how people can question that Beasley move.... Kahn was just buying a guy with a high ceiling for very cheap. Sounds like something Morey would do, honestly.

Then he took best player available in this year's draft, which was Derrick Williams by far.

First of all, you don't mean every NBA team. The Celtics, Mavs and Lakers didn't make a lot of questionable moves to get their championship a few years ago. Same goes for the majority of the playoff teams.

In fact, I can't think of many playoff teams that became a playoff team by making tons of bad moves and finally getting lucky. The Clippers are the only ones that I can think of. OKC made great moves and never failed any of their high lottery picks. Portland screwed up with Oden but the rest of their lineup are all great decisions.
