Who still believes hiring McHale was a mistake???

    He's probably the only coach in the league who would play his leading scorer 15 minutes. At least he doesn't leave AB in there for 26 min/game for apparently no reason, huge upgrade in that regard.

    What I like is how quickly the players have learned the system.

    I remember it took a while for JVG and Adelman to instill their philosophies and the teams got off to slow starts.

    The complaint about leaving players in too long is said about every coach in the league (or at least any coach on the Rockets over the past few decades). It was said about Van Gundy and about Adelman. I think it's a case where the coaches know better than we do regarding subs. However, it is frustrating when one of our players is stinking it up and doesn't get pulled for a while.
