No need to study law when you can walk across the street into the the Cuney Homes and experience it 1sthand
Not to dog on folks with this degree or in this line of work but...I kinda don't think it's all that hard to get an undergraduate degree in "administration and marketing" regardless of the school. Anyhoo, thread successfully trolled lol.
What degree is that anyways? Did he double major in Business Administration AND Marketing or is he making stuff up?
It is not unusual for a lower-tier law school to fail out a substantial chunk of their first year class. This is a phenomenon that doesn't really exist in any other graduate or professional program that I'm aware of. All law schools but a handful grade on a curve, and I believe the middle of TSU's curve is set somewhere between 2.33 to 2.66, meaning a C+ to B-. UH's law school's curve is set around 3.0-3.33, while UT law's is set between 3.33 and 3.67 with grades going up to A+ (4.33). This is why GPAs between schools is meaningless and class rank is more important. Maintaining a 2.0 on such a brutal curve as TSU's isn't as easy as it sounds, but those are the breaks when your school has such low acceptance standards (let 'em in, fail 'em out) and has to kick people out every year to try to improve the Bar Passage Rate and stay accredited. Suing a law school is almost never smart if you plan on practicing law. You won't win and it will wreck your reputation as a lawyer before you're even licensed.
You can't get an assistant manager's position at Walgreens without a U of H finance degree. I remember "hacking" into Rice's Monstertrak just to see what a banking internship looked like. All you face-painters need to take it down a notch; $100 million in construction bonds does not a top tier make.
