Doing enough to make 1.3 million dollars this year. After making 23 plus million a few years ago.

So, Tmac is consistently scoring in the 8-14 ppg area on limited shots and around 50 percent field goals. My question is do you think he can average close to 17-20 ppg with more shots? I mean look at Pierce in Boston don't you think if he got the same amount of shots, he would be throwing up similar numbers?

I think he would but I don't think his body can handle being the focal point. I think mentally too, he is willing to take the backseat to the Hawks starters unless he is needed.

It is interesting to see that he has stepped up in every important game for the Hawks (their last game vs the Pacers was testy and he played enforcer in this game by checking Amundson to the ground).

Tracy is choosing games. Go look at his stats in games in which he 'came to play'.

Atlanta is SO MUCH BETTER with him being agressive. He scores, passes and demands double teams. But usually he just isn't interested.

Look at last night. It was 11 minutes left in the 2nd period when he entered the game and I am sure Drew plan was to limit his minutes to like 8 because he hadn't been giving then ANY enegry.

But he actually came to play, showed up and competed which lead to 22 minutes. He felt the heat and that forced him to perform at higher level. This guy is as lazy as snail.

Lol, nah, that money was based on what they thought he could do, not what he's doing now. For his past 20 games he's probably average 5-6 ppg while missing quite a few of them. You think they're going to continue to give him a contract with that kind of production when they can pay a young healthy body to do the same without the inconsistency? If Mcgrady keeps this up he won't be in the league next year.

Yeah, that's just not true. He's stepped up every game that matters for the Hawks and has run the 2nd unit pretty well despite not having that much talent around him.

It will be interesting to see if he can contribute in the playoffs.

LOL, he stepped up every game "that matters for the hawks"...damn you sound just like Mcgrady now. I can't believe anyone could stand up for someone who puts up 7/3/2 and says they had a 'good game' when they 'go off' for 13points. Unbelieveable.

    Playoffs? (cue Mora)

Watch the games. He runs the offense for the second unit.

He's not a star. He's a bench player. A solid role player. That's all he is but he is still an NBA player.

    VBG,
nobody is watching the Hawks to watch the 2nd string teams play.
The real Hawks fans watch the Hawks to see the Hawks win.

Why I am I back here ? Cause your brother swvyguy wanted to talk Tracy on the Knicks thread. but this is the Tracy first thread, so I'll move the discussion here.

As I mention to the other Tracy fan, Tracy did play for the Knicks and I'm suspecting they are jealous his 13 point performance isn't getting top billing on SportsCenter.

Oh Kobe recently past Shaq in the all time scoring list.

"Yao Ming is there an he's got all these fans, but you're the one everyone wants to see, you're tmac!"

see the difference is that fans like you and me and the rest of the good posters on clutchfans, we care about the team.

I didn't say he earned it. I said he did enough to make that money. Sorry sometimes the amount of money athletes make truly blows me away.

Lol tinman, do you really believe the bs you spit? You generalize way too much. Just because someone is a tmac fan, does not mean he isn't a rockets fan. Some of us are huge basketball fans. That means we like old, young, potential, and up and coming stars. We also like hard workers, trash talkers, etc.

I still don't understand why you have to call anyone out for being a fan of a player you don't like. We know you don't like him, do you have to chastise anyone who does? Get over it man. Please.

Also, why are you always droning on about 'Real Hawks fans'...we're not hawks fans. We are tracy fans, that is very clear, we don't care if they play well, or play crappy, it is all about how tracy plays. You're pointing out the obvious. Now I just don't get why this is so difficult for you to accept. There are millions of Kobe fans that don't give a crap about the lakers, or Lebron fans, or D Wade, Rose, etc. fans.

We all have our players we like for whatever reason. I watch Hawks games and check the box scores all the time for news of mcgrady's progress, I also do the same for the Kings to check on Hayes, on the knicks to check on Lin, Novak and the no defense twins, and many others.

You don't need to tell me who I should and should not cheer for. You certainly don't need to call me and others our for not being a 'real hawks fan.' that's just silly man.

dude, you and glenrice are the ones who don't pay up bets on clutchfans, yet talk about eating fancy food in austin. LOL.

your buddy swvyguy is going on the Knicks thread, which I made so people can talk about the team not just one player (like this thread) and started egging me on to talk about tmac.

    So I'm here!

Did I tell you who should cheer for? No.

I called you a person that you couldn't trust keeping your word and a fake Atlanta Hawks fan.

    These are all true.

GlenRice can have 50 Hakeem posters on his wall, but he's still a person who didn't keep his word.

    irrelevant

You told me who I shouldn't cheer for.

I am not a fake Atlanta Hawks fan, I am not an Atlanta Hawks fan. I can't be a true fan if I am not even a fan. I am a McGrady fan. I don't, and I don't think anyone else here, pretends to be an Atlanta fan...

GlenRice can have 50 Hakeem posters on his wall, but he's still a person who didn't keep his word.[/QUOTE]

Again, not sure how this is relevant...

And btw, fancy austin food? I ate at franks today...do you know what franks is? It's a hotdog place. I had a 3 dollar hotdog for lunch lol. I'm upperclass, I know. I didn't pay that debt because I was constantly pressured to when I wasn't capable of making the payment. Instead of shutting up and waiting till I had enough extra cash to throw 50 bucks away, jo mama decided to attack me and remind others that I had not paid. Did it bother me that he told people? no, I don't care about what people think of me personally. I want them to know what my opinion is, I don't care if they respect me as a person or not. And you can say, "how do you respect someones opinion, if you don't respect them." And I remind you this is the internet, I do not know you, I will never meet you, I will never care about you, and I expect no one to care about me. So why would someone's opinion of me personally trouble me?

Tinman, you have every right to post in whatever thread you want. I just want you to know how your banging on deaf hears. You're clearly trolling because you know this.

Well somebody is listening if they had to go on my Knicks thread and egg me on.

Look trueroxfan, I'm wrong to classify that all tmac fans don't honor bets or keep their words. I'm sure tmac1, tracymcgradyadidas, and even rtm would honor any bet that goes to Clutchfans.

if it was a bet between you and me, would you have honored it? I would have said, look dude. just give whatever, $5 to clutchfans cause you obviously like going here.

I obviously have no trouble with the tracy fans not liking my posts about him or them. However, they shouldn't go on a thread like a Hakeem vs McHale thread and criticize it. Obviously it's about them not liking me, but Hakeem is the greatest rocket ever and if a so called Rocket fan doesn't understand that, then he's not a Rockets fan.

    Anyways, those hotdogs are overrated.
