If he can average something like 17 / 7, I think he has a good shot, at the very least being a reserve for the Eastern conference team.

Also, the asian vote does factor into it.

He is American and I am not sure if they can really relate to him.

 

3 games guys.... and he's on a non-guaranteed contract. Its WAY TOO EASY for New York to cut or trade him. Thats how the business side can chew up and spit out guys like Lin who are unfortunate enough to go undrafted. 4 bad games and he's out of the league.

His contract is guaranteed this year, the date to cut non - guaranteed guys was the day Adrien was cut, anyone on the roster after that is guaranteed, unless it is a 10 day contract.
