Have you actually looked at their roster? Robin Lopez is borderline decent, but he plays the same position as Gortat. Grant Hill is washed up. Michael Redd is even more washed up. Channing Frye, Hakim Warrick, Josh Childress and Shannon Brown are all crap. Markieff Morris has scored 15 points or more twice all season.

    That roster is complete garbage.

Too many stud PGs on the West, if Lowry didn't flame out recent games, he'd be in. If I'm forced to pick other than Lowry; Parker and Nash goes. The only way he gets in, if there is an injury to the one of the All-Stars. It might be a moot point anyway, given that Lowry might be out for a while. BBarry omitting TParker LOL!

I said it a while ago.... this is like a major Academy award nomination... and it's a recognition of his accomplishment this season

Even if he is not a Reserve, he is shortlisted among the next 5 guys.....
That is Top 15 to Top 20 in the West..

I keep hearing about Lawson and the Nuggets but the Rockets have a better record than them and Lowry has less talent around him than Lawson to work with. Not a knock on the Rockets but the Nuggets are pretty balanced all around. Lawson has fallen off lately. Lowry should get a spot, along with Nash (leading league in assists, and shooting 56%, crazy).

I don't think Lawson deserves it either, in fact if the whole narrative about the Nuggets is the fact that they're winning without a star, it would be kind of silly for any of their players to make the ASG, IMO.

Playing without perennial star does not mean they can't build up one of their own.

how does Lowry being in the All-Star game affect us? Does it mean we gonna win the championship? All-Star is just a show for the rich and famous, i've stopped watching it many years ago, besides as soon as we start saying Lowry will be an All-Star, he starts to suck.

Plus he just had an elbow injury today, he needs rest, its a tiring season. he needs to prove himself this season and then make it as an All-Star next season since we're hosting it.

he gets his 8 - 12 minutes of fame...... the refs know next time what kind of player he is and he probably gets more fouls called

I hate to say it, but Parker will get a nod before Lowry. Or he should. Forgive me, but the dude's playing lights out. Lowry's stretch of bad games, probably coinciding with his pending court date, dipped his numbers and our wins a little bit.

Unless the voters want a fresh face?

It would be an upset if Kyle makes it over Nash or Parker, these things are based upon years of reputation, and honestly, Parker is playing out of his mind right now.

You mean the guy that is averaging career lows all across the board? That guy?

Come on.....Parker is a lot better than Lowry, it is ok to admit that.
