Rivers is down to 21 at draftexpress. Unreal this kid is out of the lottery, he was the number 1 before the season started LOL.

I don't really see him as a pg,6'4 sgs aren't that short. Wasn't MJ and Kobe only 6'4?

Not having a great stretch of games but guaranteed to not drop past mid lotto.

    Too gifted offensively.

Very smooth, looks to me like he'll be a combo guard.

Now that Rivers' draft stock as fell a bit, wouldn't it be funny if he fell to Boston? haha

Though, a second year of college ball would be very beneficial for him. The 2012 draft is so deep, he would get drafted much higher in 2013. He needs to add more size and get that killer instinct he had back in high school.

    KA-BOOM!!!

UNC goes down at home. No way Duke should have won. No way at all.

    Austin Rivers FTW!

13-2 game-closing run in the last 2:10. UNC blew a 10-point lead. Watching their home crowd get shut up was beautiful .

ESPN3 already has the replay up already.

So who wants Houston to pick Rivers now?

    Hint: ME!!!!

Before this game I was thinking he might stay in college another year to bulk up. But this game alone is enough evidence for him to declare for the draft. He's going to be a 10-15 pick I bet.

anybody else have a problem with this play? Dribbling it all by himself and throwing up a 3 against a 7 footer with 1 second left. Couldnt they have come up with a better shot? It went in but still...

Bro, that shot showed the biggest sign of a superstar. Confidence!

If he can beef up a little than he's a top 5 pick I think.

Anyone else see Dwade all over this kid?

    Michael:Kobe::Kobe:Rivers

The dude never stops talking about Kobe when asked questions about who he studies. If Kobe were in that situation he would have done the exact same thing. Is it selfish? Of course!

But that's the way reputations are made. That's the way cold-blooded shotmakers become what they are.

Of everyone in college right now, I have the most confidence that Rivers will put in the time and dedication necessary to get every ounce of performance out of his body. Unfortunately he's not as big as MJ or Kobe were, but otherwise the sky's the limit. Expect his draft stock to surge now.

He's not a freak athlete like DWade, but damn he's fearless. He's quick, smooth & can fill it up. If can out about 10lbs of muscle on & retain his quickness, he's may be a stud in the NBA. I'd take shot at him.
