Unfortunately, xrays will not rule out tendon/ligament tears or damage. Xrays can show breaks in bones or dislocations/subluxations. If they are wanting an MRI, let's hold our collective breath, cause then we are looking to rule out tendon/ligament damage or the extent of it.

Kyle Lowry: Lowry iffy for Thur. w/ hyperextended elbow

Kyle Lowry suffered a hyperextended right elbow on Wednesday, leaving him questionable for Thursday's game against the Suns.
Lowry is still said to be in a lot of pain and given how he reacted to it while leaving Wednesday's game, it would be a bit surprising to see him play tomorrow. If he's out, Goran Dragic will be a solid starting option, but make sure Lowry's not well enough to play before rolling with Dragic. If you grabbed Dragic when news of the injury broke, hang onto him until we get more information on Thursday, although it does appear that Lowry avoided a major problem. Feb. 9 - 1:01 am et

 

i hope lowry's injury isn't serious, but i can't say i'm not interested in seeing what dragic can do against his old team as a starter

 

I think he should sit out tomorrows game. That would give him a three day rest.

same thing happened to DWade against Houston.

 

He was shooting pretty well of late. Hopefully when he returns his shooting rhythm isn't off.

 

Of course it is necessary to add the idiot. I actually wouldn't mind a cheap Brooks. Better than Flynn and the guy has proven he can perform at a high level when it matters most (playoffs). He would be one of the only players on this team capable of creating his own shot inside or outside. He finishes better than a lot of our bigger guys and has unlimited range. Why do sportsfans hold such big grudges?

Actually he is doing quite well.

He's average 18 ppg and shooting 47% from behind the arc. The team is in 1st place.
