Maybe Santorum will take the lead then another scandal will come out. Wonder if there's anywhere we can place bets on this?

I got 5 on something regarding his sexuality.

Yes, kind of like what Morey did to Jeremy Lin, except in this case Pawlenty is both Morey and Lin.

He did a nice job with the Super Bowl, though.

Well, the really interesting thing to watch will be Santorum under pressure now moving forward. Santorum under increasing pressure, and under the microscope, should be something to see. It may actually turn a few viewers and voters off.

Put another way, it's one thing for Santorum to keep coming from behind, butt has anyone ever seen Santorum in front?

When the bright lights shine on Santorum and he's exposed to the rest of the country his numbers will fall. There is no way to swallow Santorum koolaid and not have a bad taste left in your mouth.

So, here we are 7 or so contests into the process and there is still not a solid argument to be made for any of these guys winning and very solid arguments to be made that they will not win. Say what you want about McGovern or Kerry, but this is not usual. In fact, it is remarkable.

(And as far as I know, Obama hasn't engaged in dirty tricks that made Mitch Daniels cry, so this is entirely of Repub making).

He will crumble just like the others did. The only question is how fast and if it will be spectacular or dull.

lol us Paul supporters are trying to tell the Santorum/Gingrich supporters the honest truth, and that is if Mitt Romney wins the states where Santorum/Newt are NOT on the ballots of, then Mitt's chances of being the republican nominee tremendously increase.

Ron Paul as Lee Corso on Rick Santorum's "wins", "Not so fast, my friend!"

Take it for what it's worth.

I think if the country did see Santorum in front for a significant period of time, most people would feel very wrong about it. It just doesn't seem natural.

Nevada GOP Chairwoman Resigns Over Primary Vote Irregularities

    FEBRUARY 7, 2012

As if anyone who’s been paying attention over the last few weeks is actually surprised, another caucus state is taken down by GOP officials, permanently altering the outcome of yet another election, rendering its results forever in question.

This time, however, the people of Nevada are the immediate victims of mounting state GOP scandals, as the historical “First in the West” Nevada Caucus has been officially rendered a fraud, and the unwitting citizens and voters are once again left holding the bag.

So far, the overall magnitude of the circumstances has gone largely unnoticed by the people of the US in general, but that didn’t deter NV GOP Chairwoman, Amy Tarkanian from filing her resignation the very next morning on Sunday, as obvious and rampant, widespread election fraud is sweeping through the country in an establishment elite attempt to hide the real results, in favor of a pre-chosen candidate, despite the wishes of the American people.

Very similar to the circumstances that played out in Iowa just weeks ago, also forcing a state GOP official there to recently submit his own resignation, precincts across the state of Nevada are now coming up with mismatching numbers, missing votes, and ultimately and permanently unverifiable results, rendering the entire United States 2012 election process a total failure and, so far, unrecoverable.

After almost every Caucus thus far, the election has to be ultimately rendered meaningless. with the only real solutions being independent Grand Jury investigations, total do-overs, or simply allow the establishment and it’s minions to steal the nomination away from the people and the candidate they are actually trying to choose, and simply give it to Mitt Romney instead.

Amazingly, as state after state is ransacked by establishment backed party officials, as Romney continues to benefit from all the pre-meditated mayhem, the establishment’s media continues to act as if nothing whatsoever is happening and everything is under control, as if all this has been the plan all along.

Breaking the story of Chairwoman, Tarkanian’s resignation, while trying to be as quiet about it as possible, The Nevada Sun did their very best to spin the circumstances and cleverly word the story, attempting to leave the reader with the impression that everything was going to be ok, when the actual reality of the circumstances is obviously quite dire.

As it turns out, just as in Iowa, the likelihood that Ron Paul should have actually been the winner is very high. Not only did CNN show live coverage of a special late evening vote count in a populated Las Vegas precinct that had Ron Paul winning by almost 60%, statistics are showing that Ron Paul may have actually won the entire caucus by approx. the same margin, had in not been for another round of State GOP election fraud that is seemingly never going to be address by the powers that be, for obvious reasons.

There was even a CNN videotaped situation outside of that same precinct that had event staff attempting to prevent a Ron Paul supporter from entering the premises, seemingly so he couldn’t assure a fair results count.

Perhaps the most obvious aspect of the situation, however, may be the fact that Nevada is a known Libertarian state, Ron Paul has basically campaign there since his last attempt at the white house, his numbers have almost doubled in every state since then, yet Nevada state GOP ‘officials’ expect everyone to believe he actually received fewer votes there in 2012 than he did in 2008?

The situation has become so desperate for the American People and the rule of law, even the historically very humble and quiet Ron Paul should consider coming forward to cry foul. Something he has yet to do, largely because he came so close to winning in Iowa, despite GOP state officials rigging the outcome for Romney…then Santorum.

He also knew he’d be targeted by that same establishment’s media and ridiculed as a conspiracy theorist, if he tried speaking out against what should be obvious if it were actually handled honestly by the media, both locally and nationally.

It’s now become so obvious that the establishment will do anything to rig the results they are even willing to do it openly, even in caucus states that have paper ballots that are harder to hide.

This desperate attempt to make Mitt Romney the candidate, despite the wishes of the American people, must be a dead give-away that, should he happen to end up beating Obama, he is the one that is guaranteed to continue the overall and continual, multi-decade, establishment 1%’r agenda, whether the people of the United States agree with it or not.

Considering the fact that it seems Ron Paul should be the one actually winning the majority of the caucuses and primaries thus far, goes a long way in showing those paying attention that Obama also represents that same status quo that Mitt Romney does, something the establishment is refusing to let the people of America chose not to go along with.

One thing is for sure, it’s going to be very interesting to watch this play out, as scandal after scandal mounts, state by state. Will the people simply sit back and allow the establishment to force their favorite candidate into office, regardless of what the people desire? Only time will tell...

It might be since so many of these holier than thou types who doth protest too loud have wierd issues.

However, there is a reason Santorum lost his senate seat. He had a lot of Gingrich type financial scandals such as using funds he raised for alleged Christian charity for his own personal use and being over the top in taking corporate money for sleazy favors to the point that he is at least an equal to Romney and Gingrich

Franky Santorum is frightfully dull and aside from over the top Christianity what could be his appeal to the average voter. For big business he is a shameless w**** so that is appealing to them, but I think Romney has him by a hair there.

Reality Check: Caucus chaos and why delegates are what really matter

RON PAUL WINNING THE BATTLE FOR DELEGATES

CAMPAIGN IS WELL-POSITIONED IN DELEGATE RACE

LAKE JACKSON, Texas – The Ron Paul 2012 Presidential campaign released the following statement regarding the results of yesterday’s election results. See comments below from Ron Paul 2012 National Campaign Manager John Tate.
“We are thrilled with the yesterday’s results. Our campaign to Restore America continues to gain ground, and we are poised to pick up even more delegates from Minnesota and Colorado adding to our delegates in Iowa, New Hampshire, and Nevada.

“As people across the country view the results of yesterday’s contests, it is important to consider a few facts that have not been clearly reported. Not one single delegate was awarded yesterday, instead the caucuses in Minnesota and Colorado were the very first step in the delegate selection process. And there are still over 40 states left to go. The Ron Paul campaign plans to continue to vie for delegates nationwide.

“There are a few significant takeaways from yesterday’s contests to remember:

    1) The Missouri primary means nothing. It was a non-binding beauty contest, and the contest that matters in the ‘show me’ state won’t take place for another month. The Ron Paul campaign is well positioned to win delegates in Missouri’s caucus a month from now.

    2) As in Iowa where not 1 of the 28 delegates has been awarded yet, in Colorado and Nevada the Paul campaign will do very well in the state delegate counts. We will have good numbers among the actual delegates awarded, far exceeding our straw poll numbers.

    3) In Minnesota where we have finished a solid second, we also have a strong majority of the state convention delegates, and the process to elect delegates has also just begun, the Paul campaign is well-organized to win the bulk of delegates there.

“We are confident in gaining a much larger share of delegates than even our impressive showing yesterday indicates. As an example of our campaign’s delegate strength, take a look at what has occurred in Colorado:

In one precinct in Larimer County, the straw poll vote was 23 for Santorum, 13 for Paul, 5 for Romney, 2 for Gingrich. There were 13 delegate slots, and Ron Paul got ALL 13.

In a precinct in Delta County the vote was 22 for Santorum, 12 for Romney, 8 for Paul, 7 for Gingrich. There were 5 delegate slots, and ALL 5 went to Ron Paul.

In a Pueblo County precinct, the vote was 16 for Santorum, 11 for Romney, 3 for Gingrich and 2 for Paul. There were 2 delegate slots filled, and both were filled by Ron Paul supporters.

We are also seeing the same trends in Minnesota, Nevada, and Iowa, and in Missouri as well.

“We may well win Minnesota, and do far better in Colorado than yesterday’s polls indicate.

“In the latest national poll from Reuters/Ipsos Poll, Ron Paul places a strong second with 21 percent, gaining ground on his main competitor nationally, Mitt Romney, whose support seems to be fading at 29 percent. Congressman Paul’s support has grown by 5 percentage points nationally since January, while Romney has seen a 30 percent decline in his support since January.

“This poll follows a January 30th Gallup Poll showing Dr. Paul within the margin of error of defeating Obama. Also, a January 16th CNN/ORC Poll showed Congressman Paul and Obama in a virtual tie in a general election showdown.

“Yesterday’s contests were significant, but not a decisive or a conclusive end to this race. Our campaign will keep pushing forward and continue to take our message of liberty all the way to the convention. This race after all is about delegates, not about beauty contests.”
