http://blog.chron.com/ultimaterocke...iming-and-the-player-the-rockets-get-instead/ Wonder what they thought Dorsey would become back then.......as a best case scenario. Any ideas?
Smith to Dorsey is a bit of an odd comparison. Smith is an offense over defense guy, where Dorsey only had defense. Maybe he means in terms of effectiveness, a guy who can be a rotation player eventually.
Photoshop skills anyone? Give us a good cringe-worthy Dalembert-face-on-a-big-woman's-body. Or just put long hair on Dalembert.
This is just a great action shot by the Chronicle's Smiley Pool. There's some defense McHale could smile at.
Greg Smith for Dleague Allstars http://www.nba.com/dleague/news/2012_nba_dleague_allstar_rosters.html
Doesn't matter he's been signed according to the Houston Rockets official twitter account... via Houston Rockets twitter Rockets signed 2012 D-League All-Star Greg Smith from the Rio Grande Valley Vipers & waived forward Jeff Adrien to make room on the roster.
I imagine he will be back in Rio Grande shortly. Just protected a player with higher potential. Had Adrien not played solid defense the game before this move would have been met with a lot more fanfare, which would have likely been baseless too. 94% chance both these guys are scrubs. 5% chance one of em becomes a player. 1% the next Jeremy Lin.
