I don't think so. In the first quarter, Parsons really only got beat once on a post-up. Gallo's two other field goals really can't be attributed to bad defense on Parsons' part (one was Dalembert falling asleep and providing no help, the other was Lowry doing a poor job in transition D). In the third quarter, Parsons forced a miss and drew a charge against Gallo on the first two plays. On a third, he had a clean strip but the ref called a foul. The fourth was the play where Gallo got injured and drew free throws but it shouldn't have been a shooting foul, IMO.

I really cringed and was glad I was watching the game alone. It's part of the NBA game now, like it or not, so I guess it's good that we have some players that are flop artists, but it can be damned hard to watch at times.

Lowry certainly elevated his "Flop Ranking" tonight.

Oh well, by any means necessary!

Gotta do what he has got to do with these refs. They obviously push our players to such a point.

It sucks but look we are last in the league free throw attempts, behind even jump shooting happy teams like the Raptors or the Suns.

Martin 1-9 again... when he breaks out of his shooting slump the Rockets will be much better. If he had a normal shooting night we wouldn't have needed an unusually hot shooting night from other guys. So I think it's a good win.

I can't believe I miss the 1st Rockets game this season (Blue Monday), it looks like I didn't miss much. Another disappearing game for Dalembert, put him on D-League to straighten him out. Consistency is not his game, if he brings it every night, we would be a lot better. This might be a lackluster win, but it is an important win, this win could be the difference at the end of season for making the playoffs.

From the box score (didn't watch the game), I thought Dalembert must have been injured...but apparently not?

Look a win is a win, but we just barely beat their scrub team, nothing to get too excited about.

If Rockets beat Portland thursday then we will definitely be a playoff team imo. We take some season tie breaker advantages from Portland and possibly Denver too that's big.

    14. When you are looking at the opponent's back up big men (Koufas) and wondering how much better your team would be if they were your starting center.

i hate to break it to you, but with the exception of the thunder and flopcity, all the rest of the teams are that..scrubs(and we've played the same schedule as them). :p

looking at the highlights, i noticed parson's pass to bud at the end of the game.

looked like he should have swung it to the other side of the court, but the denver defense was already rotating there, so going the other way with it turned out to be excellent. not to mention thats where bud was, who was hot in the second half. beautiful.

Lowry was clearly fouled there. He was just putting the refs in a position where they had to call it.

Honestly, toward the end of the game the refs were letting the Nuggets get away with numerous blocking fouls. Theres really nothing to do but keep going into them and make the contact more obvious. At that point they were playing for a steal or nothing, and the refs were obliging the home team.

That's not the way you should look at that. The two hardest games in the next few weeks were supposed to be @Denver, @Portland this Wed... Now that we won in Denver, when we lose tomorrow night in Portland it won't start off the road trip on a 3 game losing streak. If we can get W's against the Suns and Warriors we can split the trip and try to go 5-1 in our next 6 home games.

Every win counts, I agree, but I think we have to be honest about it, and that a healthy Nuggs team probably whipes the floor with our team.

But that doesn't matter at the end of the day I guess.
