Well Im gone today for a while. I cant stand to see Jeremy Lin or Moreys face any longer. Hopefully Lin cools down and doesnt turn into the next star. His talent was very evident at the start. Easily for everyone to see. Do I cut him just to sign Dalembert? I dont know. We will find out though very soon. Some idiots will say it was hindsight again if it turns out wrong for us. All I know is I wanted to rebuild. So keeping young guys like Lin and only marginally upgrading to Dalembert was not that big a deal to me for this year. Heck I never even wanted anyone else except for Chuck Hayes if it wasnt a big improvement.

Traded Flynns garbage long ago? Yeah they should have dropped him and Adrien off our roster.

This is not about that. This is about some smucks talking stuff the other day and now looking real bad today over it. I wnat the Knicks to continue sucking. Over that conversation yesterday? This has some other meaning. However???

That Lin thing is gonna turn out bad. I think personally when I saw him play he would turn out as good as Dragic or better in the very few minutes I saw him.

I'm pretty sure he's being genuine.

Well there is already another Lin thread on the rockets forum. We don't need two Lin threads here.

That's you flat out guessing with not enough real information to come to a conclusion. Dragic dropped 23 pts in the 4th quarter in the playoffs against a good defensive Spurs team and has been a solid backup pg for a few years now.

Its not really guessing. He had great numbers in college comparable with top draft picks. He had a great shooting percentage in college and good scoring per game. He is obviously Asian and that plays some role in him falling in the draft because he also has good athleticism and great size and strength for a point guard. It ws really pretty simple using basic scouting information on him. I will go out on the limb and say he starts on many teams or is very solid for the rest of his career as a good backup.

Those words right there make your conclusion a very slightly educated guess. You didn't say you were basing it off college and etc you said based on the few minutes you saw him and that makes it a guess. If Dragic had been out there with the Knicks tonight he probably would have dropped 30 or more. Go look at how he performed when Lowry was out for us. Set him free in a Mike D offense as the primary scorer like Lin was today and he would put on a show.

lol fail. He put up numbers at Harvard. He didn't slip because he is Asian, its because of the conference he played in. You fail for comparing him to Dragic and while were at it, you should maybe check Flynn's rookie numbers. At the very least, allow Lin to play against a real NBA team.... Not a guard-less Utah team, or the Nets.

    Please.... You need to chill.

He will hit a rookie wall. Knicks will win if he provides decent Point guard play next to Shumpert though.

Here is a hint for next time though. Dont LOL and cry fail if you are the one looking bad with some guy putting up 25 and 28 points in two back to back games. At least wait until some of you have a point on the guy at hand. Of course he will have off days but you cant laugh yet either until the season is over.

That doesn't really make any sense. You are the one jumping the gun and saying that a guy that has played very few minutes is better than a guy that has proven himself to be a quality player.

Well when you actually have a reason to post differently you can. Until then I cant take you seriously off of back to back playoffless years, no stars, no high draft picks, and losing talent to other teams. Have a point that is in your favor first. If not step off. You sound lacking in your argument sitting on a huge pile of steaming average until then. When you are no longer going into this average direction? Then you can question me seriously. Until then you have no point against my arguments against average team production.

Get a one thing that favors your point of view first. Then come back until then I will be quiet and wait for you to find it. I am not posting a response to personal criticism of me without you having the upper hand in this argument with showing some results in regards to winning and talent. Get some first and then come back at me.

So keeping Lin would have made us not average? I have no idea what you are talking about.

Lin's playing ok but the fact there are a lot of NBA caliber players who don't get the chance to play in the NBA. Guys like Ish Smith, Greg Smith, that other dude we kept cutting and getting, all these guys are better than sad sack vets who take up space simply because they are in the NBA.

IMHO Lin is a blessing in the disguise for the Knicks as well, they would have gotten their ass handed to them by NJ if Lin wasn't playing. Think about that, if Knicks were beaten by the Nets how horrible are they? We would have lost the pick, at least with Lin there they'll win enough games to stay out of the top 5.

Actually he went to Harvard only because his Asian and no major basketball college gave him a scholarship despite the fact that he was the best player on the best high school team in California.
