Yeah Melo got hurt. Strained Right Groin they said, those injuries can be tricky and hamper you for a bit like a hammy...

Can't believe I'll be rooting for the Jazz tonight...I blame the Rockets for this.

    COME ON JAZZ!!!

Carmelo and Amare potentially taking a couple weeks off would be HUGE...

The Melo injury could be a curse.

The Knicks have the 8th draft pick now. They might move up 3 spots to the 5th draft pick, if the groin injury hangs around for a long time.

Yeah, certainly Jeffries contract wasn't stopping them from signing Amar'e, he would have been like one of three non-expirings on that team, and he's back on the team anyway. They might have been able to trade Hill for a young pg, and obviously the picks cost them.

Mike Breen saying the Knicks owe Lin 4 assist.

    This team is so bad.

Daryl Morey has got to be nervous about this kid.

He could have like 10 assists right now If guys would hit some shots...

What you say is true... but you are talking about 15 games.... what about the 29 games he played for the Clips last year where he shot 29% from three... the fact is his career three % is around 30%..... last year he got 16 points a game on 15 shots... that is not Martinesque..

I agree, his assist to turnover ratio is very good. I would point out that he is about to be 33 years old, has had numerous horrendous injuries and does not defend at all.

Interesting point, and there is some truth to what you say, but the systems are different, and Baron is not 5 years older.

We will just agree to disagree. My opinion is based in part on the fact that I am not sold he will be healthy, motivated or in shape.

That is more than fair. I hope you are right, but the way Jeremy is playing, you might want to hope that I am right! ;)

Was Jeff Adrien really needed? Ouch, this is painful to watch...

So painful and not even because we need him but because the Knicks do.

Lin at halftime: 9 pts 7 assists 0 turnovers, Knicks winning by 13 without Amare or Melo, Chandler in foul trouble

Yeah, where the Flynn apologists now.

9 points and 7 assist with 0 T.O for Lin at the half.

Let's just hope Melo will destroy the chemistry.

I still can't believe folks support the Jeff Adrien spot. Both Monroe and Lin were better than him. Why sign an undersized midget from the NBDL over guys that are talented and not undersized?

Morey gets bit twice by the Adrien mistake with the lottery pick losing value.

So how long will a strained groin or whatever keep you out?

Flynn was kept for contract reasons plain and simple. If his contract ends up helping us land a good player or even a draft pick it was worth keeping him. Lin was not going to get minutes on this team because he is not better than Dragic.
