BEP was live but there was an audio problem, clutchfans complained. Madonna was not live but great audio, clutchfans complained. Spoiler
They need to get White Stripes to reunite for the next superbowl. Help them Jack White, you're their only hope. I don't care if you're a Madonna fan or not, that was difficult to watch, especially in that venue. She could have done worse, but that doesn't mean it looked like a good fit. And whoever the scrubby cheerleader with the itchy trigger finger was, get over yourself.
Meh I wouldn't call them a knock off.... Muse is bass driven, more progressive. Matt and Thome sound alike, although Matt is a much better singer. Radiohead is way more creative and and in no way am I comparing them in talent, but I think Muse is way more entertaining live.
That used to be my opinion too... until I saw what they could do live. They are a force on their own. If real football had a Super Bowl and it was held in England then Muse would be a no brainer.
Yea, I've seen videos of their concerts in England it's nuts. I'm not discounting Radiohead at all I love Radiohead. But like you said Muse is insane live. They are maybe in my top 10 favorite bands album wise but easily the best live I have ever seen, no competition.
well Im all for it, if they integrate some form of urban music into it.. I liked the U2 performance also.. And I never even know they song any of the songs they played... Im all for it.. Maybe sprinkle some Mary J Blidge with them and you wont have a drop off of viewers in the younger generation
I don't know if you're too old or too young, or just missed the mid 2000's. But you're really missing out on some good music.
I've always liked Madonna. Not her music necessarily (although some is decent enough) but definitely her attitude.
here's to yah Madonna fans in Houston... she's coming to town... http://www.29-95.com/music/story/madonna-sets-houston-date
