I don't think even Malkin or Moore thought Chrysler had the intention of endorsing Obama. They just see that the ad could be read to say that the bailout was a success and that the auto industry (specifically Chrysler) has turned around.

    That's exactly my feelings too.

If Chrysler hadn't already been running ads VERY similar to this for 2-3 years now, I'd say it might be a little fishy.

But this was very much in line with everything they've been saying and doing all along.

I saw the ad and all I could think about was how Christian Bale's Batman sounds exactly like an aged Clint Eastwood.

You guys on the right who are upset with this ad need to chill. Its almost like you guys are more worried about being wrong about the bailout then you are worried about this country. Chrysler coming back is good for America. Don't like the bailout.... So the F what! It happened and it worked, get over it.

    Maybe they miss him?

And of course it was an ad that would benefit Obama if anybody. I didn't take it as an Obama ad, but can certainly see how someone would draw that conclusion.

Great ad -- it's not surprising that the conservatives are in here whining about something good that happened in our country.

    Here's what Clint said:

    http://www.politico.com/blogs/click/2012/02/clint-eastwood-im-not-affiliated-with-obama-113651.html

About what you'd expect. But I do wonder if "all politicians" agree with the message when some of them are betting on a lack of job growth to carry them in the upcoming election.

Not sure if Mittens can come out and run "Detroit is back and so is America!" as his message.

C'mon, be honest. That picture of hers looks pretty good no matter the political affiliation.
