Just making sure. But they won't be able to help themselves and will look foolish trying to separate the economy from Obama after trying to strangle him with it for 4 years.

I can guarantee Obama wins if either Romney/Paul/Gingrich/Santorum get the nomination. So what?

it's obvious that romney has to convince paul voters to vote for him to stand a chance in the general. even if ron paul is promised head of federal reserve or rand paul is vp choice, i'm not sure the voters would care.

only other chance is paul as a 3rd party taking enough obama votes. paul has said that is not happening.

If Madonna has a wardrobe malfunction I'm setting the over/under for Gingrich to blame it on Democrats at 49 seconds.

Romney needs those paul democrats and independents. If he can't get them he has no chance of beating barack obama.

Didn't get to see much of the Sunday shows but from video highlights Newt was blasting the administration for its war on religion and Santorum was claiming the long defunct belief that abortion leads to breast cancer. Didn't see Mitt or Paul, what lies were they spouting?

    Okay, now I'm curious.

What would Romney have to do to get the support of you Paul people over Obama?

most paul supporters are not going to support romney or any other GOP candidate. there is too much disagreement on core issues. its like a rockets fan rooting for the utah jazz.

has paul categorically denied a 3rd party run? i dont think he has...he has been very coy about it.

    not be mitt romney.

Exactly. For true Ron Paul fans, both the GOP and Democratic Party are completely at odds with their belief structure. I would think a Gary Johnson type would be most likely route for their support.

That said, Gary Johnson is not going to get 10% of the vote in the Presidential election. So assuming no 3rd party run, Ron Paul people will end up either not voting (younger ones, probably) or voting for a lesser-of-two-evils. He does pull from both parties, but I imagine more votes will ultimately go to Romney than Obama.

this. the casual paul fan might be convinced to vote R or D, but the diehard paultards like myself will not support either party.

id vote for him over obama or bling-bling.

alot of paul supporters (myself included) will vote 3rd party.

Since State's Rights are such a major part of Paul's platform, I assume Paulies will show up at the poles to vote in the Congressional and State elections.

I'm guessing while they're there, there going ahead and pulling on the Presidential vote lever too.

The more people learn about Mitt, the less they like him. The only person less popular is Gingrich.

    Meanwhile, Obama keeps chugging along.
