Its happened a the recent few times at the end of Min games, especially after a lose, he seemed to be deeply in discussion with Adelman and assistant coaches pointing out to the court whilst Adelman's coaching staff try to consol him. Perhaps this also has relation to him and several players pointing out Mchale's coaching strategy.
Stop reaching. Also, Rick gave him his first REAL shot at being a starter. Basically that whole staff was apart of that. *JJ Watt salutes your thread, as it is now closed*
McHale comes from the old-school mentality that the meaner you are, the better your players will play.
All that shows is that he really likes his former coach, who we spent many years playing for, which we already knew.
Sorry, I try not to be a grammar Nazi, but this is one of my pet peeves on Clutchfans. A game which a team lost is referred to as a "loss", not a "lose." Nothing can happen after a "lose". A lose doesn't exist. Cmon guys. That's a basic sports word, it shouldn't be a daily mistake.
Pretty much this. It would seem strange that Lowry likes Adelman more, when Adelman’s system doesn’t really let him get the assist numbers he gets now. But Lowry just cares about winning and having a coach that will put his team in the best situation to win. The front office also prefers winning over rebuilding, but for some genius reason thinks firing a HOF coach is the best way to go about it. It’s just really annoying that we made huge strides in the later half of last season and we're not really building upon that. This season so many players look worse and we’re not really beating any good teams. I don't even think Minnesota is a better team than us right now, but they've beat us twice because they have a better coach.
I think we all miss the ruler. It's going to take some time to completely buy what mctalky is selling. I'm sure I will take the bait sooner than later. the ruler never liked going into a zone with us, but agains us, he did and we looked liked we had never seen one. A lot of iso ball going around. It just looks uglay.
I saw that. Right as the buzzer sounded Lowry went right up to Adelman and it looked like they had a pretty intense conversation. I didn't see any other Rockets players coming up to talk to Adelman but for what its worth Adelman didn't seem too happy about seeing Love stomp on Scola.
Lowry nor any rocket players would ever say this to any one, although im sure its true that bud, scola, kevin and lowry ect all miss adelmen and prefer him over mchale.
This mentality has to stop. Rick is gone. And he's not coming back. Like it or not, this is the group we have and they need to rally behind their coach. If Lowry wants to be "the man" on this team, he has to be the guy that buys in all the way to Mchale. If he won't....the team won't.
Yeah...without know what was said to each other this thread is pure speculation. For all we know Lowry was telling Adelman to get his boy Love under control.
