If you gave 240 dollars a day to the extreme coupon people they would open their own store...

the reason why i'm dreading having to go back to the corporate world, for stupid **** like this.

i'm constantly amazed by some of the left of center stupid policies hr dreams up.

i don't see the logic in any of it, but maybe i'm dense.

the whole kicker: if you abuse this you're fired. lololol

omg...I always thought Saffron was a girl in that song. I think you just flipped my world upside down.

    Donovan!

I think I need a t-shirt that says just that. Donovan!

Oh, at that was his best song. Maybe in my childhood, somehow he influenced my love for saffron. I must spread rep before.

yeah, totally...freezing meat is fine. but freezing it AFTER you aged it. not so sure. The aging part is how you get the price up to $240/day. If you freeze a grass fed cow...you are saving money, no? we are trying to spend it...haha

I can probably maximize 60/day for 3 outta 5 days let alone 7. However, since your friend has little ones, it practically goes up to 100/ adult. My expense dime is ~35/work day, and I've been gaining weight... For the kids, spoil them with fancy cereal snacks or whatever newfangled things there are. Pretend they're allergic to milk and gluten...that adds up.

Buy a lot of fancy kid food at whole foods. Go to hippy farmers markets that cost more or fancy foo foo supermarkets like Gelsons, which should be abundant in the valley, if that's where he lives.

Tell your friend or his wife to go to food snob sites like chowhound or urbanspoon. Likelier that they'll have more ideas and scoff at the pittance of two hundred forty per day...

Because the company pockets the portion you don't use, and they've allocated that perk long before the friend got there.

Boulder. Well, actually they moved to Frisco -- near Breck. The 90 days was over earlier this month. I'm just reporting how he described the 90 day "chore.'

I'm not really understanding, are you trying to say $240 a day isn't enough for a family of four? Because that's obviously ridiculous.

The easy answer is just don't spend it all.

I haven't read through this thread but it seems like an unbelievably stupid amount of waste from this company.

yeah, the b****ing at Cisco and corporate america is a side tangent. The real question though is why didn't McHale get Martin out of the game when he is sucking?

You pay someone (using part of the grocery money) to go for you everyday. Cash only.

I don't understand why they would make the stipulation of not being able to buy in advance.

The amount is probably a global amount, so it accommodates for all locations throughout the world. The reason behind the stipulations is probably because they want the employee to just use what they need and not take advantage.

I wonder if Cisco find out he just overspend/wasting on everything just to maximize that credit. Will he get fired too?

How would they determine overspend/wasting considering that's the budget they gave?
