Kevin Love intentionally steps on Luis Scola's face

If you google "Kevin Love Luis Scola" you'll notice the incident has caught on in a number of places, including the Huffington Post.

 

It actually goes back to Van Gundy calling out Stern for sending out a memo to officials that specifically targeted Yao Ming in the 2004-2005 playoffs. The mavs won because they were set up to win... When Van Gundy called out Stern, after being notified by an official of the situation, Stern now gives us the worst schedules every single year and also doesn't care when our players are disrespected by a certain Minnesota power forward...

 

But the Mavs didn't win that year did they? They crapped the bed in the finals. Unless you're telling me that they were happy to win a Western conference championship.

 

Those decisions are instigated by teams not Stern. IIRC, it was actually the Cuban/Mavs who were sending in video and campaigning to change how Yao was reffed.

 

I will now hate Kevin Love for the rest of his career. He has fallen into the Karl Malone / John Stockton category.

 

I don't know anything about Kevin Love outside of his stats and games versus the Rockets. He might be a little like some of his family members...

Kevin Love's uncle, Mike Love, of Beach Boy's fame, is universally hated by all Beach Boys fans. The guy continually sues his old bandmates for perceived slights in songwriting credit, he went on a drunken rant at his induction to the RR Hall of Fame, and he is considered by most (due to public comment) to be the Yoko Ono of the Beach Boys (pushing the mentally unstable Brian Wilson over the edge).

Kevin Love's dad, Stan Love, who had a short NBA career, was hired as bodyguard for Brian Wilson. During that time he (and a second bodyguard) kicked in the door of Dennis Wilson's home and viciously beat him. Apparently it was so bad that they damaged his larynx. They also slammed his head into a headboard 12 times during the incident.

So... at least there is a family history of inflicting head injuries.

 

Maybe Scola should talk to the DA about pressing charges for battery... I hear u can get 100 hours of community service for game infractions... lol

 

“He fell down on the play,” Love said. “He was kind of right there. I just have size-19 feet. I had nowhere to go. It just happened to be his face, just like in Houston it happened to be my groin.”

That just further proves he did it intentionally.

 

Or maybe Scola should just knock him on his ass the next time Love attempts a lay up against the Rox.

I am sorry, i read the ESPN article and he is bsing. That stomp was definitely intentional. I can't believe Scola gives him the benefit of the doubt.

Accidental my butt. What on earth man. Scola, you don't have to hit back, but you definitely don't have to forgive him so easily either. He stomped on you out of spite. He could have easily stepped over. He did not. He stomped that foot down.

 

Truth! Mike Love is a selfish and insecure egomaniac. I think he prevented the Beach Boys from achieving worldwide Beatles or Rolling Stones-like appreciation.

 

I'll be thoroughly surprised to see anything more than a fine.

 

Shouldn't Stern WANT to level a heavy suspension agianst Love? After all, the more games the Wolves lose, the better that raft pick becomes. Here is where the league owning the Hornets really becomes sticky. If he gives out a heavy suspension. teams will argue that he is trying to help the Wolves lose a few games so that the draft pick comes up better.

 

Wonder what adelman and mchale thought about that

Hold on, is Scola saying that maybe Love didnt do it purposely???? I'm all for being classy and showing respect to players, coaches, ref or anyone, but when shyt like this happens --- to where someone deliberately steps on your face ----- sorry, there's just no "keeping it classy" there. If I were Scola I would definitely call out Love and send the message of "I cant wait till we play them again", Damnit, Scola, stand up for yourself!
